A dolphin was defrocked of a Speedo bathing suit after swimming in Sarasota Bay for 28 days while entangled in the thong.
Rescuers decided to remove the Speedo after a month when it became clear that it would not come off by itself, as they hoped, and instead began to rub cuts into the dolphin's back.
The Speedo was a size *shudder* X-X-X-X-X Large. Seriously. I'm not kidding.
