From the story on AP:
Employees at the Fort Worth headquarters got messages Tuesday morning saying: "The work force reduction notification is currently in progress. Unfortunately your position is one that has been eliminated."
Can you imagine? Talk about dehumanizing, and cowardly, too.
I wonder how much money and time they saved with this bone-headed move? It won't be long until they declare massive losses, or maybe even bankruptcy, in my opinion. In my area, they close stores almost as quickly as they open, and the service in the ones that remain is terrible. They NEVER have what I'm after, and the salesmen are ignorant and rude.
Go capitalism! Get rid of the weak! Now if only the government would stop subsidizing NASA and the airline industry!
