Israel Saves Hamas Leader From Assassination Plot!

I'm waiting to hear the thanks...

*crickets*

Israel could have very well saved the life of a key Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas! The Israeli Intelligence reports that they intercepted information that Hamas was plotting to kill Abbas at his office building in Gaza.

"We monitor every movement of Hamas in Gaza," one Israeli source told the Times. "So when we learned that Abbas's life was in danger, we made sure to inform him without delay."

It seems that Hamas considers Abbas a stumbling block in its efforts to complete control over Palestine and wants him dead, but I've got a guess; last week Hamas leader Mohammed Nazzal accused Abbas of "besieging and isolating the Hamas-led government."
