Senator Tom Daschle has his toe in the water for the Democratic Presidential Nomination."It's just taking the next step to a more thoughtful consideration of a presidential campaign," Daschle said in an interview with The Associated Press.
Daschle said he will be traveling to states to "sound out presidential themes, talk to voters and get a sense of what kind of a reception I might be getting." He also will be campaigning for local candidates.
Daschle said that he would make his decision by the end of this year or sooner.
I think that he's got too much of a stigma to make a successful run, but hey, if he wants to try...
