Giving New Meaning To The Term "Victim"

A sub-postmaster who was beaten unconscious and in an armed robbery was billed for half of the stolen cash from the Hertfordshire village of Upper Caldecote, UK.

Dilip Karavadra was shocked when his boss demanded half of the 6,695 Lira stolen because he had contributed to the robbery by allowing the armed robbers to jump over the counter and take the cash.

"I was fighting for my life and now the Post Office wants half of the cash back that was violently stolen from me," said Mr Karavadra who has run the post office in the Hertfordshire village of Upper Caldecote for six years.

And you thought your boss was a jerk!
