Barbie And Her Pooping Dog

So there I am, watching afternoon cartoons with the kids, when a commercial for this comes on:

This is Barbie and Tanner, her pooping dog.

Product Features:

*Tanner Barbie's doll is soft and fuzzy and her mouth, ears, head and tail really move

So, my five-year old daughter immediately starts begging me for one! She thinks the fact that the doggie can not only eat, but poop too, may be the coolest thing since sliced bread.

I told her there was NO WAY I was going to purchase a pooping dog/Barbie combo, and informed her that if she thought picking up dog poo looked like so much fun, there is a whole backyard of it (courtesy of our Great Dane) she could tackle... That's probably good for at least an hour of fun, by my reckoning!

She was less than amused.
