This Just In...

...Mitt Romney loves vagina!

It's true! MSN reports that Romney told  Radio Mambi that he loves "mango, papaya and guava," after asked by the host if he liked Cuban fruits.

Turns out that papaya is Cuban gutter slang for 'vagina'. Funny how a radio host for a station with a large Cuban listenership would ask such a question...

No worries, though. I have it on good authority that Obama loves corn dogs:

Seriously, can this MSM get any more juvenile?

Retroactively Offended?

The racist group Congressional Black Caucus has been retroactively offended by Allen West. Apparently, he had the nerve to offer them Chic-Fil-A sandwiches and biscuits six months before libs had an apoplectic fit when the owner of a Christian-based corporation *gasp* made a statement affirming their belief in traditional marriage.

Maybe West is clairvoyant?

Check this out. You'll have to read it twice to believe the lengths to which leftists will go to find offense:

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A Democratic lawmaker says Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) offended the entire Congressional Black Caucus by delivering Chick-fil-A chicken and biscuits to their weekly meeting -- and then walking out -- when it was his turn to provide the group with a formal lunch.
Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-Fla.) told The Huffington Post that the incident happened about six months ago but is now fresh in his mind given West's recent comments in support of the fast food chain, which is run by a well-known Christian and backer of anti-gay religious organizations. Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy last week sparked a nationwide response from gay rights activists after publicly denouncing marriage equality.
"We have a rotation in the Congressional Black Caucus where every member provides the lunch one of the weeks when we meet," Hastings said in a Monday interview. The lunches, he said, are often quite delicious.
"We have fried chicken. And we have catfish and BBQ. We do not have watermelon, although sometimes people will have fruit. We serve a full course meal with collard greens. We have Jamaican beans and rice," Hastings said. But West "sent Chick-fil-A with biscuits. Ok?"
"That was an 'in your face.' Every member of the Congressional Black Caucus that was there was offended," he said.
Asked more specifically why lawmakers were insulted, Hastings said it was because they saw West's actions as making a statement in support of the conservative views held by Chick-fil-A leaders. West is the only Republican member of the caucus.
"He did it deliberately," Hastings said, explaining that he saw West's message as, "You know, 'That's what I think of you all.'"

Another Foray into FaceBook

Some of you may recall my posting a conversation between a former Marine friend a bit ago.

Well, here's one with a high-school friend over the Chic-Fil-A situation. Let me know what you think:

  • I never go on a rant here on face book, but this chick fil a thing really worries me about people. It is bigotry at its finest and shameful for those who call themselves "Christians". I look at the photos of people standing in line saying this is all for the freedom of speech. But, I feel I'm watching a clan rally. I look at these people and I am reminded of those who have lost their lives for being LGBT, and it breaks my heart. Christ died for us all not just white bred Americans, and people wonder why the modern church is not making an impact on the world when all they do is spread hate. Christ has called all of you to love each other, not judge. Can you ever take yourselves out of your shoes and even try to picture yourselves with the struggles they have? To be beaten, tortured, raped and killed for just loving others? I think of some of my friends past and present and think of the struggles they have to go through in life. But no we must parade Mr chick fil a around as a "saint" or a martyr for not being open on a Sunday and not liking those gays being married. Give me a break folks it has nothing to do with politics it all comes down to hate. Next they will have to have separate schools or separate drinking fountains. People are disgusting.

      • Holly May I have not eaten at this place for years bc of all the money they have donated to anti-gay groups. However, there are plenty of other companies that do the same thing. The disgusting thing about this is what you said. The people showing support for chic-full-ass don't realize that what they are really doing is crapping on civil rights, not supporting free speech. I agree, it reminds me of a klan rally.

It's not anti-gay, it's pro-free speech. The owner of CFA has never hid his opinion, and only said that he supports 'traditional marriage'. That's his right, and no one in this country has the right to never be offended. After the owner exp...See More

      • Brooke Tarvin Also, what's up with preaching Christ's calling for us all to love on another, and then attacking what you perceive as bigotry towards the gay people with bigotry aimed at caucasian people? White bred? I don't get the double standard.

And "they" aren't calling for separate facilities. That's just silly. Show me one example of CFA refusing employment or service to a LGTB person.

Potpourri Wednesday.

Meh. I'm not much in the mood for politics. Plus it is my only day off for the week. I don't want to burn out too quickly, but I did have to throw some spaghetti on the wall and see if any of it sticks:

I went to Target today for a few odds and ends for the kitchen. In the same plaza is the only Chick-fil-A in the area, and I thought I'd get the kids and myself a meal. Now, I don't indulge in fast foods too often, and I figured they'd be busy today with everyone else showing their support... But at 13:00 there was a drive-through line literally two blocks long and the line to the counter came out the door and stretched across the parking lot! There was a wait time of at least two hours. With three kids in tow, I'll just have to support them tomorrow! Still, GREAT SHOW!

Oh, but if any of you haters waited through the line, the leftists hope you choke to death on that delicious sammich, or have a heart attack. Or both. Whatever.

A little CFA serenade:

The next thing I had to guffaw at in pretend shock was the story regarding two Chinese, two S. Koreans and an Indonesian getting the boot for cheating at badminton. Whatever the heck that is. Tennis for even bigger wimps than tennis players?

The only thing that really shocked me was that someone had the stones to punish China, no matter how blatantly they were bamboozling it in front of the cameras.

Hell, those Asian coaches even bribe the judges out in the open! Oh, no, wait. They were just appealing a decision. With a fist full of cash. OK.

HA! Tell me again why I should be interested in that dog and pony show in Londonistan? Since I'm a chick, I'm not buying the volleyball uniform argument, either.

(An aside: Londonistanian Olympics will allow a Saudi female to wear a headscarf while competing in Judo. Of course, no one is happy with this. Particularly not the future camel-grappler whose butt she will be able to kick.)

Lastly, and because I think the apathy and ADD are kicking in, I need a laugh. This one did it for me, so I'm sharing:

FINALLY, Romney is picking up the ball and running with it.

Watch this address to the VFW two days ago, and tell me who sounds more presidential, particularly while speaking to military vets... Romney, or the laughing stock of a pResident whose open, dripping disrespect of our soldiers is nauseating.

FINALLY, Romney is kicking Barry Barack Hussein Soetoro Obama in the stones!  ESPECIALLY after the five to six minute mark! Play it again, close your eyes and listen to the cadence right there. Who do you think Romney was channeling?

The whole thing is well worth listening to despite the length; one fantastic smack down after another on Obama's security failures, his foreign policy blunders, ect.

I don't think I can embed, so please watch it here.

Whooo, baby. I hope to hear a lot more of this! The only thing I would've changed: At around 11 minutes, I wouldn't have said "IF" I'm president, I would've said "WHEN."

Welcome to ObamaCare...

And yes, perhaps the title of this post is a bit facetious, but the same administration that wants to foist its version of healthcare upon us is responsible for this:

Read the rest here. It is truly disturbing.

I say, not one more red cent of taxpayer money goes to these barbaric hellhole countries. No more foreign aide. No more.

Not one more drop of American blood wasted on these animals. Not one more American boot in their shit-hole countries.

Every single official that turned a blind eye to this for political expediency should be impeached, tried, convicted and thrown in the deepest, darkest hole we can find. And yes, that goes all the way to the top. To think that Mr. "He calls me Bill", whether that be the President himself, or VP, or some other top dog would allow such suffering and waste to occur so as not to look bad during an election year is, as the article suggests, Nazi-esque!

Just when I think this deplorable administration cannot offend or sicken me anymore, I wake up, put on the news and find a new low.

One-Way Street.

I've often said at this site, to leftists free speech is a one-way street:

So don't listen to opposing ads; hit mute.

Oh, and you can just bet that Obama won't be releasing the same sort of ad he's telling folks to ignore when he's the target. Riiiiight.

Another Obama First?

Since when does the Congress have to pass legislation to prevent the President from compromising national security?

Since this little gem, which I'm sure you all remember:

H/T to iOTW... And as one comment there pointed out, if this Congress had any stones at all they should've voted to impeach! Either way, too little, too late, I'm afraid!

Microchipped.

We decided to keep the kitten the kids found about a month and a half  back.

They named her Nibbler off Futurama because they're hooked on that show and the kitten is really food aggressive. We're working on that with training...

Today, the county pound held an even sponsored by Naked Dingo foods. The first 25 pets got a free microchip, with free activation, with every other pet charged only $10. A HUGE savings when compared to what the vet charges!

We made #16! Yeah! We also scored some swag; a free tee, and lots and lots of free food and treat samples!

Here is little Nibbler:

She hollered a bit during the chipping. The needle they used looked like a garden hose! Still, she was able to pose with the staff afterwards!

Nibbler will meet the vet again on August first to be spayed. Wish us luck!
