Here's a little something my friends who read Z's site and some of the comments there:

So many times, I have voted for a third-party candidate. The Dem candidate won every single time!

Therefore, I will have to hold my nose and vote for Romney. I'm not crazy about Romney, primarily because he has a history of talking out of all sides of his mouth.

Ryan, overall, is more consistent.

I honestly think we need a strong libertarian/conservative third party to keep the other two on their toes and towing the line. That said, we aren't there yet. Until the third party candidates start winning in the primaries, it is pointless to vote for them in the main election for the reasons stated above. That said, I don't think we need 30 parties like the Italians have. That would let even more Marxists into the equation.

Unfortunately, third parties just are not a viable choice right now.

Bottom line: A vote for Johnson (or someone else) is a vote for Obama.

AoW - Romney is NEVER going to take Maryland. The Democrat is going to " win" Mrylands electoral votes no matter what I do. And so , i'll be voting FOR somebody this election.

Love that...someone sent it to me via email but it wouldn't post on my blog...so glad you did this.
Am going to mention it at my place...it's so true..SO TRUE.

thanks, Brooke!!

Have tried to do the verification THREE TIMES now..I HATE THAT!

Sorry about the word ver.; it is truly awful. The reason I leave it on, however, is that several times a day my inbox fills with spam link comments from blogging pals who don't use it...

Let's just say I know exactly where to find xanex, valium and viagra, should I ever need it. ;)

Oh, and the occasional hard-core description of a hard-core porn link. Ick.

Which is better than:

1. Submit vote for Mittens Romney

2. Watch either Obama or Romney win election

3. Get four more years of far left activism on gay marriage, abortion, illegal immigration, and socialized health care

4. Spend four years constantly having to explain to people that conservatives really do oppose gay marriage, abortion, illegal immigration, and socialized medicine

...I'll be doing that above anyway, but I'd better not catch a Romney voter trying to pretend to be conservative next year.

Just as a vote for Ross Perot was a vote for Bill Clinton. I'll never forget that lesson.

I think a vote for a third party is exactly that, a vote for a third party. It is not the fault of a third party voter that a Repocrat or a Demuplican loses. It is their own fault for not appealling to a large enough number of supporters.
