Biden did make one thing clear last night: the Left wants nothing more than for the Right to shut up. And the Left will interrupt and carry on a juvenile fashion to accomplish that goal!
Interestingly, I saw the same behavior from the Leftwing pundits after the debate. I was watching CNN, and the most Leftwing pundit kept interrupting and deprecating the conservative pundit when she was trying to speak. He did this several times! Sheesh.
I'm tired of Crazy Uncle Joe getting a free pass on his numerous gaffes and insulting behavior. Republicans need to be castigating this fool at every turn.

Dem turnout was in danger after Obummer mailed it in. Biden went out and did what he had to do, stir up the base.
Eddie Munster was there with his memorized index cards so the goal was to knock him ff his timing, make him pause, get him back on his heels.
So he messes up and says his administration might have to stay in Afghanistan past 2014, he messes up on Medicare vouchers. He can't make the math work on his tax plan. In short he comes off as a little boy who hasn't figured out that Atlas Shrugged is science fiction.
The right may be fine with that. Doesn't matter. Biden reminded the Dem base that a Romney presidency would absolutely trash the place. Why that's okay with the fringe right is off absolutely no importance. They must simply be contained in order for there to be any hope.
If Obama wins, this will go down as one of the great debate performances.
Ryan had facts and a whole lot of self-control and decorum.
Biden might have energized the base, but that base would be the same folks that found this energizing.
What he really did was turn off a whole lot of people. What Biden communicated was: Do you want someone with that looks like he just broke out of Arkham a heartbeat away from the presidency?
