Brooke, all I can say is that this priest is fulfilling the Bible's very own warnings: "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves." 2 Peter 2:1
"For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." 2 Cor. 11:14
"I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them." Acts 20:30-31
"But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?" Matthew 7:14-16
"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths." 2 Timothy 4:3-4
And I could find a couple dozen more passages from old and new testament that describe this kind of philosophy.
A pastor I knew had some frequent interaction with a minister who thought like this priest. He finally confronted him, "Why are going through all this effort and pretense? If you don't really believe any of the Bible, you might as well quit pretending and just go live it up?" The guy committed adultery several times, left the ministry and ended up running a strip club or something like that. At least he was no longer infecting a congregation.

ps - I also hate to tell the guy that Jesus was supposed to be G_d... and so G_d IS, by definition, a "Christian" to Christians.
This guy should be excommunicated for being a Spinoza-ist living in the literal "body" of Christ.

How does he remain ordained by the Episcopalians?

Bingo! He probably can't do anything else and I don't know of any atheistic or agnostic churches that need a pastor.
