Islamic Outrage Du Jour:
First we have a twelve-year-old girl winning a divorce from her 80-year-old 'husband.' Yes, your eyes are functioning properly and you did read that right.
Likely this divorce happened only because the case managed to catch international attention, otherwise this little girl would be bringing her 'spouse' his little blue pill so he can piously follow the example of the Pedophile Mohammad:
I guess when you're a six-year-old, 72 virgins in a sky brothel just doesn't have the same appeal... And those retarded or physically imperfect Iraqis just aren't good for anything else, are they ROP'ers? Might as well make them useful for killing infidels and opposing sects.
Next, we have dhimmitude most foul from the U.S. Pentagon:
Notice the biased nature of the story's title.
Mr. Graham is absolutely correct. In a Western society you can't do any of the things that the Koran, Hadith and so-called Muslim scholars sanctify. That our military, engaged in fighting a deadly enemy is so worried about offending said enemy is deplorable, cowardly and reeks of the lowest weakness. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Dhimmitude is disgusing.
Last but certainly not least, we have a refreshing breath of non-dhimmitude from THE FRENCH. That's right, our Pentagon tucks tail at the merest possibility of perhaps offending a Muslim while THE FRENCH are putting their foot down.
Dear gawd, I've fallen through a wormhole into the Mirror Universe.

PARIS, APRIL 23 - A 31-year-old woman who was driving whilst wearing the niqab, the Islamic veil which covers the whole face except the eyes, was fined 22 euros by the traffic police for "driving in uncomfortable conditions". ù The incident, said the woman, took place at the beginning of month in Nantes, in the west of France. The French woman has been wearing the niqab for nine years and was arrested by the police in a street of Nantes while at the wheel of her car: "two policemen pulled me over," said the woman, saying that she uncovered her face for identification purposes. "At that point, the policeman," continues the report, "told me that he was making a report because of my clothing. I told him that he couldn't, that it was pure and simple discrimination." The policeman said that the woman's field of vision had been limited by the niqab. President Nicolas Sarkozy decided on Wednesday in a Council of Ministers meeting that the government will proceed with a bill for the total ban of the full veil and the burkha in France by May, despite reservations expressed by the Council of State and criticism that the law would appear to be difficult to apply. Meanwhile, daily newspaper Le Parisien has reported that one of the authors of the bill, chief whip of the majority party (UMP), Jean-Francois Copé, has been under escort since January following repeated threats. His closest collaborators say that the threats and the decision to provide him with protection were "more or less linked to the burkha"
That's right. The man has to walk about with a full protection unit because Muslims are willing to murder him over a couple of yards of drab cloth.
And boo-hoo, babe. You want to wear a burqa, do it in your home or go to one of the hellhole Islamist countries where it is acceptable... Say, as a woman, do you think you might suffer any 'discrimination' over there? Just sayin'.
The French are absolutely correct. The burqa and all of it's 'fashion' cousins should be outright illegal. No country which claims to be a civilized nation should validate the institutionalized misogyny of Islam by allowing women to walk about in burlap sacks because they think they are pious or making some kind of statement. The only such statement being made is that they don't mind things like this:

Check out today's Day By Day, because after seeing these pics mocking Islam is mandatory. If only it were more brutal a lashing.

More Insanity From Obama
After what they've done to the banks, the auto industry and healthcare, they cannot do the one most important thing they were meant to do.
The Sinaloa Cartel is thought to have seized control of Ciudad Juarez by US intelligence, and is being used as the main artery to traffic drugs into the United States through the city of El Paso. With that comes kidnappings, murders, crime, ect.
Federal agents even refer to the cities as the "ground zero" of the ridiculously titled war on drugs.
Any peep from the Obama administration? Any pullout from the Middle East and "redeployment" to that area of the border?
Nah.
Instead, Obama is focusing on dismantling America's nuclear standing. A treaty with Russia to disarm in Prague? REALLY?!?

Even worse is the idea that we take the nuclear option off the table for countries that promise not to develop nukes. Sure. Does he really think that any such country wouldn't just attempt to gain nuclear capability under the radar? And what of terrorist sponsoring states? I suppose they can pack as many nail bomb vests as they wish, safe in the knowledge that we will never get to the point of exhaustion with their bullshit and just hit the button, solving the problem once and for all.
And Obama expects that Republicans will just get in line behind this?
He's probably not far off the mark. Considering the utter spinelessness in the GOP, it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Speaking of surprise, is anyone surprised that Netanyahu cancelled his trip to the Washington nuclear arms conference? I wouldn't attend such a farce either, were I he. Considering the treatment of Israel by the Obama administration, why come to a table and be listen to my state, the ONLY stable one in the Middle East, be berated for my nuclear weapons program while the Hitler of Iran is given a pass?
Meanwhile, Sarah Palin is calling Obama out on his idiocy. (I know, not a difficult thing.) She has astutely pointed out that no previous president has ever considered such an foolish move.
Obama childishly responded that he would not respond to Palin, saying, "Because last I checked, Sarah Palin's not much of an expert on nuclear issues."
Yeah, sure. And you are, Mr. one-half-of-a-Senate-term-before-running-for-president. Yeah, lots and lots of experience and expertise there.
Perhaps it isn't Palin's comments that have Obama so rattled. Perhaps it is the thought of this:

Who's the Insulting One?
Huh?
Each time Israel cedes land to the psuedo-stinians, they are repaid with rocket fire, homicide bombers, and other such terrorist attacks.
Can you imagine another country telling America where it may and may not build?
From this source:

In a stunning display of arrogance, Clinton proceeded to call Netanyahu to berate him.
Even more insane, frightening, and egotistical is the rumor that the Obama administration may withhold military aid from Israel in case of an Iranian attack:

In an exceptionally harsh phone call to Netanyahu Friday, March, Clinton herself hinted at this possibility while administering a dressing-down on the

Will the hubris of the Obama administration embolden Iran into starting the next world war over housing for Jews?

Anwar al Awlaki: On the CIA Kill List
Anwar al Awlaki poses a dilemma for U.S. counter-terrorism officials. He is a U.S. citizen and until recently was mainly known as a preacher espousing radical Islamic views. But Awlaki's ties to November's shootings at Ft. Hood and the failed Christmas Day airline plot have helped convince CIA analysts that his role has changed.
"Over the past several years, Awlaki has gone from propagandist to recruiter to operational player," said a U.S. counter-terrorism official.
Awlaki's status as a U.S. citizen requires special consideration, according to former officials familiar with the criteria for the CIA's targeted killing program. But while Awlaki has not yet been placed on the CIA list, the officials said it is all but certain that he will be added because of the threat he poses.
"If an American is stupid enough to make cause with terrorists abroad, to frequent their camps and take part in their plans, he or she can't expect their citizenship to work as a magic shield," said another U.S. official. "If you join the enemy, you join your fate to his."

Terrorism and Global Warming
In the tape, broadcast in part on Al-Jazeera television, bin Laden warned of the dangers of climate change and says that the way to stop it is to bring "the wheels of the American economy" to a halt.
He blamed Western industrialized nations for hunger, desertification and floods across the globe, and called for "drastic solutions" to global warming, and "not solutions that partially reduce the effect of climate change."
Bin Laden has mentioned climate change and global warning in past messages, but the latest tape was his first dedicated to the topic. The speech, which included almost no religious rhetoric, could be an attempt by the terror leader to give his message an appeal beyond Islamic militants.
That evening, Napolitiano did prominently show up at the Capitol to attend President Barack Obama's State of the Union address. But earlier in the day, she dispatched Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Jane Holl Lute to testify on her behalf in the Homeland Security Committee on what went wrong in the homeland-security process that allowed would-be suicide-bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to board a plane bound from Amsterdam to the Detroit.

Jihad Panty Bomber Update:

An update on the jihadi panty bomber, everyone!
DETROIT - A Nigerian man accused of trying to ignite an explosive on a Detroit-bound U.S. airliner on Christmas appeared before a judge for the first time Friday, against a backdrop of protesters who stood outside the courthouse waving American flags and denouncing acts of terror.
Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's arraignment was brief — less than five minutes — and a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf. He said little, telling the judge simply that he understood the charges against him.
If the name sounds familiar, that’s because you’ve read about Siefer on this site, before. During the Detroit terror cell case, she represented Karim Koubriti, an Islamic terrorist in a cell, which plotted to blow up the U.S. Air Force Base in Turkey, where U.S. AWACS and Israeli F-16s are based and from where they took off. They also plotted to blow up hotels and casinos in Las Vegas and planned to detonate in Disneyland.
During the course of her “representation” of terrorist Koubriti, Siefer and her fellow public defender, Richard Helfrick a/k/a Rick Helfrick (who will probably also assist her in representing Abdulmutallab), stole the stationery of the then-Chief Judge of the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Lawrence Zatkoff, forged Zatkoff’s name, and sent it to another attorney in the case, accusing him of faking invoices (which wasn’t true). That makes at least several federal crimes that I can think of–theft, forgery, impersonating a federal official, mail fraud, etc. but they got away with it.
In an interview, Judge Gerald Rosen, who presided over the Detroit terror cell case, admitted to me that Siefer and Helfrick forged the documents. Then, he berated me for daring to ask about it, saying his court “deals in serious issues.” I guess attorneys in a federal case committing several crimes and impersonating a federal judge, just aren’t serious.
MIND READERS
The aim of one company that blends high technology and behavioral psychology is hinted at in its name, WeCU -- as in "We See You."
The system that Israeli-based WeCU Technologies has devised and is testing in Israel projects images onto airport screens, such as symbols associated with a certain terrorist group or some other image only a would-be terrorist would recognize, company CEO Ehud Givon said.
The logic is that people can't help reacting, even if only subtly, to familiar images that suddenly appear in unfamiliar places. If you strolled through an airport and saw a picture of your mother, Givon explained, you couldn't help but respond.
The reaction could be a darting of the eyes, an increased heartbeat, a nervous twitch or faster breathing, he said.
The WeCU system would use humans to do some of the observing but would rely mostly on hidden cameras or sensors that can detect a slight rise in body temperature and heart rate. Far more sensitive devices under development that can take such measurements from a distance would be incorporated later.
If the sensors picked up a suspicious reaction, the traveler could be pulled out of line for further screening.
"One by one, you can screen out from the flow of people those with specific malicious intent," Givon said.
Some critics have expressed horror at the approach, calling it Orwellian and akin to "brain fingerprinting."
For civil libertarians, attempting to read a person's thoughts comes uncomfortably close to the future world depicted in the movie "Minority Report," where a policeman played by Tom Cruise targets people for "pre-crimes," or merely thinking about breaking the law.
LIE DETECTORS
One system being studied by Homeland Security is called the Future Attribute Screening Technology, or FAST, and works like a souped-up polygraph.
It would subject people pulled aside for additional screening to a battery of tests, including scans of facial movements and pupil dilation, for signs of deception. Small platforms similar to the balancing boards used in the Nintendo Wii would help detect fidgeting.
At a public demonstration of the system in Boston last year, project manager Robert Burns explained that people who harbor ill will display involuntary physiological reactions that others -- such as those who are stressed out for ordinary reasons, such as being late for a plane -- don't.
The system could be made to work passively, scanning people as they walk through a security line, according to Burns.
Field testing of the system, which will cost around $20 million to develop, could begin in 2011, The Boston Globe said in a story about the demonstration. Addressing one concern of civil libertarians, Burns said the technology would delete data after each screening.

Cowardly Obama Closes US Embassy/ Cartoonifada is Back!
LONDON – Britain and the United States are assisting a counterterrorism police unit in Yemen amid fears of an increasing threat of international terrorism emanating from the country, the British government said Sunday.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown's office said that he and President Barack Obama agreed to "intensify joint U.S.-U.K. work to tackle the emerging terrorist threat from both Yemen and Somalia" in the wake of the failed Detroit terror plot.
"Amongst the initiatives the PM has agreed with President Obama is U.S.-U.K. funding for a special counter-terrorism police unit in Yemen," the statement said.
The U.S. embassy in Yemen closed on Sunday, citing ongoing threats by the al-Qaida branch that has been linked to the failed Christmas Day bombing attempt of a U.S. airliner headed to Detroit. The embassy would not say if there was a specific threat.
The confrontation with the terrorist group's branch in Yemen, at the tip of the Arabian Peninsula, has gained new urgency since the 23-year-old Nigerian accused in the attack, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, told U.S. investigators he received training and instructions from al-Qaida operatives in Yemen. President Barack Obama said Saturday that al-Qaida's branch in Yemen was behind the attempt.
A cushy Saudi Arabian "rehab" center where terrorists are encouraged to express themselves through crayon drawings, water sports and video games is under scrutiny after one of its graduates re-emerged as a leader in the al Qaeda branch claiming responsibility for trying to blow up an airliner on Christmas.
Said Ali al Shihri -- a former Guantanamo Bay detainee who now heads the terror group al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula -- obviously didn't get to the bottom of his America-hating issues while undergoing the controversial rehab for jihadists.
Inmates like Shihri are supposed to while away the days playing ping-pong, PlayStation and soccer in hopes that the peaceful environment will help them cope with their jihadist rages.
Bomb-makers and gunmen participate in art therapy to help them explore their feelings non-violently.
In between tasty picnic-style meals of rice and lamb and snacks of Snickers along with dips in the pool, participants practice Arabic calligraphy, produce dizzying Jackson Pollack rip-offs and imagine the aftermath of car bombings in crayon.
Some 1,500 al Qaeda terrorists have "graduated" from the program, including 108 former Guantanamo Bay detainees, the Washington Post reported.
"The Saudis talk about a success rate of 80 to 90 percent, but when you look at what those numbers mean in reality, it all falls down. There is no criteria for evaluation," John Horgan, a Department of Homeland Security consultant, told the New York Post.
In 2009, Horgan visited several of the Saudi terrorism rehab centers to report on the programs for Homeland Security.
"These guys are not being de-radicalized. They are being encouraged to disassociate from terrorism, but that doesn't mean their fundamental views changed," said Horgan, director of the International Center for the Study of Terrorism at Penn State.
-----------------------
"There are guards and gates and barbed wire but it's not quite prison," Christopher Boucek of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, who has visite
d the center, told ABC.
"It's a communal living environment that's more like 'Hogan's Heroes' than 'Escape From Alcatraz.' "
A team of shrinks works with the inmates in managing their emotions, and they are given lessons in Islam from imams, who warn them that jihad is only acceptable when sanctioned by the state.
Toward the end of their stint, some inmates are allowed to make unescorted visits to family members.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is insanity. Idiot liberals who wanted to 'feel good' about themselves and prove how 'progressive' they are have put in charge of this country a man who barely ever made a decision, but rather voted 'present' in his almost half a Senate term served before he began campaigning. We have in charge a man who has no military experience, indeed, I believe he hates the military with a passion.
COPENHAGEN — Police shot a Somali man wielding an ax and a knife after he broke into the home of an artist whose cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad with a bomb-shaped turban outraged the Muslim world, the head of Denmark's intelligence agency said Saturday.
Jakob Scharf said in a statement that a 28-year-old man with ties to Al Qaeda entered Kurt Westergaard's home in Aarhus Friday night. But Westergaard pressed an alarm and police arrived minutes later.
The attack on the artist, whose rendering was among 12 that led to the torching of Danish diplomatic offices in predominantly Muslim countries in 2006, was "terror related," Scharf said. He said the man would be charged with attempted murder.
Westergaard, whose 5-year-old granddaughter was in the home on a sleepover, sought shelter in a specially made safe room when the suspect broke a window of the home, said Preben Nielsen of the Aarhus police.
Officers arrived two minutes later and tried to arrest the assailant, who wielded an ax at a police officer. The officer then shot the man in a knee and a hand, authorities said. Nielsen said the suspect was hospitalized but his life was not in danger.
"The arrested man has, according to PET's information, close relations to the Somali terrorist group al-Shabab and Al Qaeda leaders in eastern Africa," Scharf said. PET is Denmark's intelligence agency.
Scharf said without elaborating that the man is suspected of having been involved in terror-related activities in east Africa. He had been under PET's surveillance but not in connection with Westergaard, he said
The man, who had a permit to stay in Denmark, was to be charged Saturday with attempted murder for trying to kill Westergaard and the police officer, Scharf said.

Close Gitmo... Great Idea.

It seems there is a new twist in the December 25th "Panty Bomber Jihadi" story...
