The Doctor.

It seems the Doctor may have made an appearance at the royal wedding this week:

That's odd, because he usually only shows for the dancing. ;)

Tonight is the next installment. I can scarcely wait!

Round Two:

Round one.

I haven't flooded out, just minor damage to the house happened after all the storms and rain. Hubby is on it.

Appropriately, while I was at work yesterday, the rain cleared and a huge, vibrant rainbow was visible through every patient's window. Dave took a pic, but it just doesn't do it justice:

One. More. Week.

An aside:

Dear gawd, no! NO!

Although, at 0:56, if you listen closely you can hear the sonic screwdriver, I swear. Really.

Still Busy!

As informed today by my doctor, I am apparently going to have to fight Workman's Comp to get a CT of my injured knee. It's cheaper than an MRI, and because I have previously installed hardware in my elbow I cannot have the latter, yet they still have a bean counter ready to deny my meager claim. Ugh.

Welcome to Obamacare.

Just try to soldier on and do your job and surpass their magic number of days to follow up by a little while and suddenly you're in the appeal process. Bullocks.

Anyway, it's that time of the year to go through the storage tubs in the basement and figure out what clothing fits which kid still... or not. Everything we cannot use goes to the Vietnam Vets for pickup tomorrow morning right before I head out for my twelve-hour shift.

Believe you me, a bonfire and cigar will ensue after all of that. ;)

Guess What?

You now get to pay for the EPA to fit Mexican trucks with catalytic converters to save the environment as they cross the border unchecked... Meanwhile, our truckers have to jump through more flaming hoops to drive than a tiger at a circus.

But why not? We already allow illegal immigrants come across the Mexican border unchecked and pay for all of their needs.

It seems to me that if the EPA were really worried about protecting the environment from Mexican 'workers' they would do something about this:

Putting their hands down the pants of little girls... For YOUR SAFETY. The blue shirt is the new brown shirt:

Seriously, is this what we have come to? Molesting little girls because we are afraid of profiling (which works) and thus offending a few Islamists?

If anyone did this to my five-year-old, uniform or not, they would be in need of serious medical attention.

Those People

Please watch this video. When you have finished, pick up your jaw and let's engage in a little thought experiment:

Now, imagine, if you will, this dumb cow was a white person speaking about "those people."

Hmmm... What do you suppose the outcome would be?

Not Submitting

Huge h/t to Angel at Woman Honor Thyself.

Let's hope this woman doesn't get the Theo treatment, as he also offended Islam with strong speech:

The 'Religion of Peace' Killing Children... Yet Again

Eleven have been shot to death by a murderous Islamist 'martyr' in Rio de Janeiro equivalent of a Jr. High school.

From this source, emphasis mine:

At least 11 people, mostly children, died Thursday and more that 15 were wounded when an armed man attacked a school in Realengo in the poor suburbs of Rio de Janeiro.
Police initially said that 13 people had died, but Rio de Janeiro’s Health Ministry later lowered the death toll.
According to a preliminary police report, the attacker—a 24-year-old former student at the school—was among the dead after shooting himself in the head. He attacked Tasso da Silveira school, where some 400 students ages 9-14 were in classes.
Police Col. Djalma Beltrami said the killer used two handguns and a lot of ammunition. The suspect left behind a letter, in which he anticipated committing suicide after the attack. Beltrami, however, gave no details of any possible motive.
Beltrami described the letter as “the words of a person who no longer believes in anything, full of sentences that made no sense and references to Islamic fundamentalism.”

Wait just a minute... I think we just found our motive!

Beltrami said the attacker was friendly as he went into the school, chatting with administrators and teachers and asking for permission to address the children. When he reached the third floor of the building, the suspect entered one of the classrooms and started to shoot at students, killing nine girls and one boy.
The attacker apparently committed suicide upon being chased by a police officer who had been called in by a student who managed to escape the building.

Allahu Ackbar, man.  Only eleven children had to die for you to get your 72 virgins in Allah's sky-brothel.

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff was “in shock” over the killings, government spokesperson Rodrigo Baena Soares said in Brasilia.
“He still had a lot of ammunition in his possession. Had it not been for the arrival of the police officer, the tragedy would have been even worse,” Beltrami said.
Roselane de Oliveira, a sister of the attacker, told Rio de Janeiro radio station Band News that the young man “was very strange.”
“He had no friends, and he spent all his time on the internet,” she said.
In recent months, she said, he appeared to have got closer to Islam.

Red flag right there.

Police stressed, however, that there was no concrete evidence that the attack had either a religious or a political motive.

No, no, no! It wasn't Islam! Noooooo!

Hiatus

Hey, all.

Between dealing with my work schedule, schooling/ect. issues with children and a few minor health issues, I just have not had the time to post. I will try to read/post when possible! I may comment more than post, or just post stuff that tickles me instead of getting too heavy.

Although, before I go today I must point out that 60% of US military deaths have occurred in Afghanistan SINCE Obama's inauguration in 2009... And there has been nary a peep from our glorious midstream media.
