she's really making the rounds and deserves to. Except I couldn't help but think her language and her rifle set her up for media dismissal...like Coulter does with her attitude. It's not real BAD language but somehow it sucks the air out of her arguments...no?
LOVE what they're saying but they kill themselves with delivery. This woman is SMART and SO RIGHT.....(in all ways!) I think the guy who burned the koran is a moron but I think he had every right to do it.
I don't burn books. Not because I believe what they have to say. On the contrary, I believe burning a book grants it power. It's an admission that you can't compete intellectually with what that book has to say.
I'm Voltaire in this.
"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
Same with American flag burning.
Burning the American flag is pointless. I'd never burn the American flag... unless it became illegal to do so. Then burning it would have a point.
Thus, I personally disagree with burning the Quran, but fully support the rights of those who chosse to do so.
For purely aesthetic reasons though, I think she should have burned the bacon bookmarks too. The grease fire would have been awesome.

"Beamish: I don't think the Koran should be burned. I think it should be read aloud so everyone can see just how nasty it really is. "
Ditto. Burning doesn't enlighten anyone, change minds or win converts. In fact, it galvanizes the Islamicists and their apologists in the opposite direction.
Well, yes Brooke, you would run into trouble burning the Quran in 3rd world Islamic countries like Great Britain. There's never been free speech there. Hell, you have to have a license to watch television there.
Clearly Ducky hasn't read the Koran, or he has and it's barbarism and misogyny appeals to him.
Beamish: The UK is nuts. You say something that some rabid Islamist doesn't like and you're on trial.
Meanwhile, T2Andy Choudhry is causing trouble for France, amazingly the only European country with the stones to say no to one of Islam's dark age practices.
Meanwhile these stupid cows who have clearly never lived under Islamic law and don't understand what racism is protest to KEEP the symbol of oppression that 'allah' wants them to be imprisoned in.

Z: Sometimes the message should be forceful. I think we do need that, especially with the silence and dhimmitude coming from our officials.

Burning books ain't my thing, but I'm not on board with criminalizing it, either.

Gee, the bimbo who uses bacon as a bookmark. Deep thought will be found elsewhere.

I guess these guys don't understand the Koran, either.
I like 9:04 in the second Barnhardt video :)
