Do you ever get the impression that there are laws for us, and laws for them? Lawmakers demand we obey the law; Congress disregards it, beginning with the United States Constitution. Congress requires us to subscribe to national health care/socialized medicine, but members of congress exempt themselves. Why is that?
I saw this at The Jungle Hut: “We've passed a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke. What could possibly go wrong?"
I don’t want to know about Obama’s package, thank you … but it did make me laugh. Only you could get away with this, Brooke.
I never have any luck getting NBC's videos to work. Their video software sucks as much as their news does.
Mustang nailed it. We have developed into a country of separate governmental officials and common citizens. We have developed an aristocratic society effectively.
I think this bit about them using the same insurance as the rest of the country is a huge deal. We need to push this and badger the GOP in Congress until they force the Democrats to vote on it. Make the Dems go on record refusing to use the same insurance they want us to have and then inform voters inn the fall about who voted against it.

Angel: Dictator is an accurate description.
Mustang: Absolutely, there are separate laws for them. They think of themselves as royalty.

Jeff: Yeah, sometimes even a blind dog finds a bone. ;)
SB: Yes! LOL!
Chuck: I couldn't agree more. What's good for the goose, and all...
