So-called "peace mom," media whore, and now Congressional hopeful Cindy Sheehan has a new loyal support group... Luckily for us, they can't vote for her.

"You [Sheehan] give us hope and you show us that there are different Americans than those whom we know," stated Ramadan Adassi, chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group in the West Bank's Anskar Refugee Camp.

"This sincere woman says what we've been saying all these last years – Saddam never threatened America or its security. Now Iraq is being decimated and America is losing. Voices like Sheehan's show things can change," said Adassi.

And why shouldn't the terrorists love Cindy? She tows the anti-Semitic line for them:

Palestinian terrorist leaders were elated to hear Sheehan blamed the Iraq war on Israel, according to Klein.

In a letter to ABC News' "Nightline" published on the Internet, Sheehan wrote: "Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a neo-con agenda to benefit Israel. My son joined the army to protect America, not Israel."

Ala Senakreh, overall West Bank chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, stated:

"I agree with her completely and thank her from deep in my heart when she dares to tell the Americans that their children are killed for the interests of Israel.

"The American security has nothing to do with the atrocities in Iraq and in Palestine. I tell this noble mother that American soldiers and Israeli soldiers receive common training and share their experience in how to turn these atrocities even more cruel. You are losing your sons not for a better life for you, but for Israeli interests," stated Senakreh.

Abu Hamed, leader of the Al Aqsa Brigades in the northern Gaza Strip, urged Americans to listen to Sheehan.

"I hope that all the Americans will understand what this great mother understood. We hope you do not consider this mother as a humanitarian case who speaks from her own pain, because she is saying the truth. I hope you will take her as a good example."

In the excellent book Never Forget: An Oral History of September 11, 2001, authors Mitchell Fink and Lois Mathias collected stories from eyewitnesses. Here's an excerpt from what David Kravette, a Cantor Fitzgerald broker, told the authors about his experience at the World Trade Center:

On the morning of September 11, I was on floor 105, tower 1. I had an 8 a.m. meeting set up with a client. He was bringing by some tech people to do some due diligence on our technology company called E-Speed. I get to work usually around seven, seven-fifteen. At eight, the client called to tell me they were running late. And I said fine. But I reminded him to bring photo ID downstairs. Ever since the last terrorist attack in '93, the building requires photo ID downstairs. He's been there before, so he knew the drill. He said, "Fine. No problem."
At 8:40, I get a phone call from the security desk downstairs, asking me if I'm expecting visitors. I said yes. "Well, they're here," they said. "But one of them forgot their ID."

I'm 105 flights up. The commute to get downstairs takes about five minutes, especially around that time. So I'm annoyed, obviously, because I have to go down now to sign these people in after I just told them to bring ID. I look at this desk assistant across from me, thinking maybe she'll help out and go down, but she's on the phone. She's also about eight months pregnant. She's a few weeks from maternity leave and she's on the phone talking to a friend and she's on a website looking at bassinets and cribs. A very nice girl expecting her first child. So how lazy am I? I decide to go myself. ...

... I take these two elevator rides down. I take the elevator from 105 to 78, change, and take the express down to the ground. I got down to the lobby. Our elevator banks actually face the visitors' gallery. And I started walking over to the visitors' gallery, I'd say it's about thirty yards, and they're standing there waiting for me. And I remember yelling, "Which one of you knuckleheads forgot your ID?"

And as I say this, you hear this really loud screeching sound. I turn around and it's kind of coming from the elevators. So I run away from it, like ten steps, and look back. And the elevators are free-falling. Then, from the middle elevator bank, not the one I came down on, but from the middle one, a huge fireball explodes in the lobby. This huge fireball is coming right toward me. People got incinerated. And I remember just looking at this thing, not feeling scared, but just sad because I knew I was going to die. But as quickly as it came toward me, it actually sucked back in on itself, and it was gone. It left a lot of smoke and everything was blown out, all the glass and revolving doors leading into the shopping area. All I felt was a big wave of heat come over me, like when you put your face too close to a fireplace. My customer and my general counsel and I just ran out. The three of us ran over the overpass to where the Financial Center is. We went down to where the marina is, where the yachts are. And that's when we found out what happened, that a plane had hit the building.

I looked up and saw this big gaping hole. I said, "What's that falling out of the window?"

My general counsel looks at me like I'm nuts. And he says, "That's people jumping out." ...

Cantor Fitzgerald had four floors in the North Tower -- 101, 103, 104, and 105. Nobody got out on those floors. Everyone who was upstairs perished. There were a lot of phone calls to wives and husbands at around nine o'clock saying good-bye, as though they knew they were going to die.

A Busy Week

This week is going to be a busy one for me!

Tomorrow is 9-11, and so will be a pensive day of memorials and reflection.



I'm also taking the concealed carry class this week, which is split into two 5-hour evening classes, and I also have a couple of diaper studies with my youngest... Whew!

I've also GOT to start working on a wedding sampler for my cousin. I've been putting it off because I HATE to cross-stitch butterflies (They're a pain in the rump.) and this pattern has one in it.

As soon as I finish that project, I've got to start one for my new niece or nephew, due this April!

With so much going on this week, I don't think I'll be able to post, although I will definitely be reading as time allows.

Treason Most Foul

Chuck Schumer has disparaged our men and women in uniform. Again.

"SCHUMER: The inability of American soldiers to protect these tribes from Al-Qaeda said to these tribes, "We have to fight Al-Qaeda ourselves." It wasn't that the surge brought peace here. It was that the warlords took peace here, created a temporary peace here."

Shumer should resign amidst demands for his head from his fellow party members... But that would require at least a shred of integrity, wouldn't it?

The whole thing brings me back to a quote credited to Abraham Lincoln:

Happy Anniversary...

We all know how those Islamofascists love their anniversaries...

So it should be no surprise that Germany has foiled a terror attack planned for September 11th of this year.

It's also no surprise that we're not hearing much about this in the MSM:

Islamic terrorists planning a massacre in Germany on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks phoned British contacts as they plotted, it has emerged.

They planned to strike at German airports and US bases exactly six years after hijacked planes ploughed into the World Trade Centre.


The three suspects, two German converts to Islam and a Turk who had undergone military training at Taliban camps in Pakistan, were caught with 750kg of hydrogen peroxide, a chemical easily transformed into explosives.

Several calls to British numbers are said to been made from mobile telephones linked to two of the men being questioned in Germany. One is said to have been a "known" number.


Prosecutors and police painted a picture of a ruthless cell of Al-Qaeda-linked fanatics, willing to die in suicide attacks with bombs more powerful than those used in the July 7 attacks in London in 2005.


Prosecutors said the attacks were planned at Frankfurt airport, Germany's biggest and busiest, and the Ramstein Airbase - the Pentagon's largest outside of the US.

Other US bases, civilian airports, a nightclub and pub were on the terrorists' target list.


Germany's chief prosecutor, Monika Harms, said the plan was to construct massive car bombs and cause "as much loss of life as possible".

"We have stopped what would certainly have been the worst terror attacks in Germany," he added.


The men had been under surveillance for months from agents of the BND, Germany' s MI5, and the elite GSG-9 police commandos who are trained along SAS-lines.


American intelligence officials were also in on the surveillance but played no part in the arrests.


On Tuesday, authorities swooped at a hideout in the village of Oberschledorn in North Rhine-Westphalia where the "bomb factory" was located.


One of the suspects broke out of a bathroom window and bolted into woodland, where he wrestled with a police officer and managed to take his gun.


A shot was fired but no one was hit. The policeman and his colleagues overpowered the suspect. All three suspects were arrested.


Forty other homes and offices across Germany were raided at the same time. As well as the chemical mixtures, police discovered military detonators.

German defence minister Franz Josef Jung said: "The attacks were planned for the near future. They presented a direct threat to life."


The group had been under surveillance ever since one was spotted spying the US barracks at Hanau on New Year's Eve last year.


Email traffic between them and others abroad led to the authorities' action five days before the anniversary of 9/11.


Der Spiegel, the respected German news magazine, was among media outlets which reported the terrorists were gearing up for attacks on that day.


Last night British anti-terror officers were last night checking for links between the men held in Germany and British-Pakistani terror suspects who may have trained with them.

Officers from Scotland Yard flew to Germany to assist the investigation. They want to examine any possible links with UK terror plots.


The details of the men are also to be shown to Al Qaeda supergrass Mohammad Babar, who trained with Britons at terror camps, by US officials and to extremists in British jails.


Al Qaeda and jihadi bomb makers are known to have taught Britons how to use hydrogen peroxide at camps in Pakistan attended by other Europeans.


It has featured as a key component of al Qaeda-linked bombers at least twice in Britain. It was used by the four July 7 suicide bombers in the bombs that killed 52 on the London transport network.


It was also to have been used two weeks later in the copycat attacks by four more Islamic fundamentalists intent on bringing slaughter to the capital's streets. But the rucksack bombs failed to go off.


The plotters were jailed earlier this year. Germany routinely does not issue the last names of criminal suspects.


A man identified as being the group's leader, Fritz G, 28, is from Ulm in southern Germany, where he is understood to have worked at the city's Islamic Information Centre after converting to Islam.


The other German, Daniel S, 22, is also a Muslim convert and comes from Saarbruecken on the border with France. The third man is a Turk named Adem Y, 29, who lives in Frankfurt.


They were members of a group called Islamic Jihad Union. Spawned in Uzbekistan, it was described by a senior German lawman as a "franchise" of al Qaeda with close ties to Osama Bin Laden's terror corporation.


The men, radicalised over what they saw as the oppression of Muslims worldwide by America and her allies, have apparently been confessing to interrogators.

Oh, boo-hoo... It's America's fault again, I see. Isn't it funny how the poor Muslim must never accept responsibility for his murderous tendencies?

I also find it amazing (not really) that someone who worked at a "moderate" place where violence would never be advocated could become "radicalized."

An Open Letter To Mexico:

Glenn Beck has it right in his Open Letter To Mexico:

An open letter to President Felipe Calderon. Coming off Labor Day, Mr. President, there is just not a better time to talk about the American worker than now. Hard working, dedicated, loyal, resourceful, inventive, honest. The American worker is the model by which employees around the world should aspire to be like, but there are those jobs that exist that even the mighty American worker just won't do. Luckily that's where you come in, Mexico. I'm so excited to hear the news that trucking companies from Mexico are now operating freely here in the United States. Honestly it seems like such a logical idea with absolutely no flaws whatsoever. I mean, what could possibly go wrong, Felipe? It's not like your country has millions of peoples willing to pile themselves up like human sardines just to cross the border illegally. No, uh-uh. If that were the situation, then I'd be a little worried. However, since Mexico has a vibrant economy, a surplus of great jobs, unmatched pride and simply no corruption whatsoever, I'm completely at ease with the idea of giant trucks from Mexico roaming around here in the U.S. if you didn't have a country with such integrity and such spirit, one might consider this program simply a bad idea. Plus, it's not like there's all kinds of drug problems south of the border or terrorists out there are looking for new ways to penetrate our border with large caches of weapons or even a nuclear weapon. That's certainly not happening and if it was, I'd certainly be concerned if that threat were out there, obviously if terrorists knew about available transportation across the U.S. border with such large storage capacity, we'd be all over them because they'd be all over that. But thankfully Americans know that no amount of money besides maybe $75 or, call me crazy, a hundred bucks is worth selling out America over to any Mexican.

According to China, their one-child policy has helped curb global warming.

I hope that's a comfort to the pregnant women they strap to a table at eight months gestation and force them to abort by tortuous methods.

VIENNA (Reuters) - China says its one-child policy has helped the fight against global warming by avoiding 300 million births, the equivalent of the population of the United States.

But delegates at U.N. climate change talks in Vienna said on Thursday birth control is unlikely to find favor as a major policy theme, partly because of opposition by the Catholic Church and some developing nations trying to increase their population.

Some scientists say that birth control measures far less draconian than China's are wrongly overlooked in the fight against climate change, when the world population is projected to soar to about 9 billion by 2050 from 6.6 billion now.

"Population is clearly an important factor," said Yvo de Boer, head of the U.N. Climate Change Secretariat, at U.N. talks trying to plan a new deal to combat climate change after 2012.

China, which rejects criticism that it is doing too little to confront climate change, says that its population is now 1.3 billion against 1.6 billion if it had not imposed tough birth control measures in the late 1970s.

The number of births avoided equals the entire population of the United States. Beijing says that fewer people means less demand for energy and lower emissions of heat-trapping gases from burning fossil fuels.

"This is only an illustration of the actions we have taken," said Su Wei, a senior Foreign Ministry official heading China's delegation to the 158-nation talks from Aug 27-31.

But avoiding 300 million births "means we averted 1.3 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide in 2005" based on average world per capital emissions of 4.2 tonnes, he said.

Beijing introduced its one-child policy in the late 1970s. The rules vary across the country but usually limit families to one or, at most two, children.

"Population has not been taken seriously enough in the climate debate," said Chris Rapley, incoming head of the Science Museum in London.

He favors a greater drive for education about family planning to avoid unwanted births and slow population growth.

But tougher birth control runs into opposition from the Roman Catholic Church, and from some developing nations which favor rising birth rates and have per capita emissions a fraction of those in rich nations.

Harlan Watson, the chief U.S. negotiator, said that high immigration to the United States makes it harder to slow its rising emissions.

"It's simple arithmetic," he said. "If you look at mid-century, Europe will be at 1990 levels of population while ours will be nearing 60 percent above 1990 levels. So population does matter," he said.

How long do you think it will be before Al Gore and his minions start lobbying for legislation to limit our "population growth?"
