Chuck Schumer has disparaged our men and women in uniform. Again.
"SCHUMER: The inability of American soldiers to protect these tribes from Al-Qaeda said to these tribes, "We have to fight Al-Qaeda ourselves." It wasn't that the surge brought peace here. It was that the warlords took peace here, created a temporary peace here."
Shumer should resign amidst demands for his head from his fellow party members... But that would require at least a shred of integrity, wouldn't it?
The whole thing brings me back to a quote credited to Abraham Lincoln:
"Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged.
"
