Hitler Sees a Double Rainbow
By now some of you may have seen the double rainbow all the wayvideo, in which some hipster freaks out over a perfectly explainable natural phenomenon, albeit a cool one.
We actually had the end of a rainbows touch down near our house earlier this year. No leprechauns or gold, but it was really spectacular. Everything around us glowed with iridescent color for about three minutes. I'll probably never experience that phenomenon again in my life. But I didn't get quite as excited about it as Herr Hitler.
Der Fuhrer was quite an animal lover. At party with his general staff in 1938, he rebuked a group of officers who were discussing stag hunting. He thought it was cruel and barbaric. Maybe history has misjudged him? A man who has compassion for animals can't be all bad. (Tongue in cheek, folks, tongue in cheek)

I hear that Hitler loved dogs too... specifically German Shepherds. That makes him just
like me ;-)
