Dingy Harry showed his senility on the Senate floor yesterday by bashing men.

I, for one, am sick of men being made out to be mindless, womanizing, abusive doofuses. The 'sitcom man' is not the majority.

From this source:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) suggested Monday that domestic violence by men has increased due to U.S. joblessness.

Reid, speaking in the midst of a Senate debate over whether to pass a $15 billion package meant to spur job creation, appeared to argue that joblessness would lead to more domestic violence.

"I met with some people while I was home dealing with domestic abuse. It has gotten out of hand," Reid said on the Senate floor. "Why? Men don't have jobs."

Reid said that the effects of joblessness on domestic violence were especially pronounced among men, because, Reid said, women tend to be less abusive.

"Women don't have jobs either, but women aren’t abusive, most of the time," he said.

"Men, when they're out of work, tend to become abusive," the majority leader added. "Our domestic crisis shelters in Nevada are jammed.”

Watch the bullshittery, if you dare:

Hey, Harry:

Abusiveness isn't because of job loss... It's because a man (when the abuser is a man) lacked a father to teach him acceptable behavior, and I'll take it one further:

Democratic socialist nanny-state-cradle-to-grave entitlement programs have created a safety net in which a man doesn't have to stick around to raise his kid, and in which a woman doesn't have to try to select a decent man to provide for those children.

After all, Sugar Daddy Dem will take care of them.

But, all that aside, I would like to know if Dingy Harry is going to start beating his wife this November?

Just sayin'.

I seriously want to blacken both his eyes and break both knee caps.

Then he can walk like the Penguin for a reason.

The sooner he loses that election in Nevada the better.

I just posted on this too.

This is funny though

But, all that aside, I would like to know if Dingy Harry is going to start beating his wife this November?

I didn't think of that.

USA: That's too funny!

I don't know how these fools can get on the Senate floor and say the things they do with no real reaction.

Chuck: I'll have to check it out!

That couls apply to Obama in 2012 as well Chuck.

This just shows that Reid is grasping at straws to get his bill supported.

Would it be cold of me to say that I would like to abuse Harry Reid? No, it wouldn't be cold because, after all, it's okay for Joy Behar & Bill Maahr can joke about Cheney's heart attack. Come here, Harry.

I don't blame Harry for his spin. It's probably the only way he could get the Feminazi's in the Senate to vote for his bill, since it didn't skew 90% of the benefits to women.

Senator's Boxer/ Mikulski/ Feinstein/ etc. needed a reason to vote for it. After all, what's a $15b bill when compared to the $800b stimulus that already went to create jobs for the women of the AFSCME and NEA/AFT?

Hey, now ... if you look at his sentence, it's awfully suspicious:

"I met with some people while I was home dealing with domestic abuse."

Sounds an awful lot to me like he was meeting with a lawyer over some domestic abuse he participated in and, like a good Zombiecrat, is just looking to lay the blame off on someone else. Why not pin it on 10% of the country (assuming men make up 50% of the 20% of the work force that is REALLY out of work)?

Harry Reid is such an asshat.

Jeff: I sure hope it does!

Angel: Just when I think he can't get any dumber, Reid manages to impress.

Cube: Heh. That's right.

FJ: Clearly, he was pandering. I'm just wondering why, when he could have done just as you said and skewed the bennies.

Beamish: OMG, that's fantastic! LOL!

SB: Interesting theory... I wouldn't be surprised.

AOW: Isn't he, though? Sheesh!

I have news for him, men who spend too much time in Congress tend to become abusive of the American people.

AMEN, Krystal!

I think he's using what's called circular logic...using one b.s. argument to explain another b.s. argument when in fact, nothing he says is based in truth.

Don't you know it felt good when he linked those two things together in his feeble mind and realized that someone would enjoy hearing it?!

Maybe someone mentioned it up above, I have to run and don't have time....but Fred Thompson apparently said something about how Mrs Reid better start worrying since it'll be her husband without a job very soon! :-)
The media's crazed with indignation, apparently....I thought it was very clever, don't you!?

Dingy Harry showed his senility on the Senate floor yesterday...

He didn't show his senility; he showed his ass. But let's be clear ... it isn't his fault. According to this site Mr. Reid has never worked a day in his life. He spent the first third of his life in school, the second third as a gangster, and now he's a devout communist.

So my real question is, WHY is anyone listening to ANYTHING Hairy Reid has to say? You know, the History Channel tells us his great grandfather was hung for stealing horses. It makes me reflect that some family traditions are worth keeping.

Thanks Brooke. I am sure you are aware that out of the 10 or so protected classes, white men are the only class unprotected by the policies of our federal government.

If you have an honest HR Dept or an honest EEO counselor where you work, ask them. But be careful, even asking the question well may blackball you. It could be a career killer.

Jen: Absolutely. Reid no doubt loves the sound of his own voice.

Z: LOL! What Reid said was 10 times worse than Thompson's comment. Yet look who the media attacks!

Mustang: Descendant of a horse thief now stealing money from the masses. How fitting.

LA: I wouldn't dare!
