Croakley is Done!

Dems are scratching their heads today, throwing excuses as to Coakley's loss up against the proverbial wall to see what sticks.

From this source:

Rep. Steve Driehaus, D-Ohio, said Democrats never properly messaged the health care bill. "We have been so focused on getting the right number of votes and getting the legislation drafted that we forgot we have to message this to the American people and help the American people understand what's in it," he said.
Not enough health care reform: While some Democrats were saying slow down, others said speed up, and that the reason Coakley lost is because voters were frustrated by the legislative inertia in Washington.
"The reason Ted Kennedy's seat is no longer controlled by a Democrat is clear: Washington's inability to deliver the change voters demanded in November 2008," Service Employees International Union President Andy Stern said. "Make no mistake, political paralysis resulted in electoral failure."

Two reasons are incorrect in the leftists' assumptions.

One: We KNOW what's in most of the bill. WE DON'T WANT IT.

Two: We are tired of being ruled with impunity by petty monarchs. The damn chair doesn't belong to the Kennedy family, it belongs to WE THE PEOPLE.

Your arrogance appalls even traditionally blue Massachusetts. Wake up, leftists.

PS: I've not had time today to look up the statistics and I haven't heard a peep from the MSM. Does anyone have a link for the percentages of votes?

If anybody thinks that this MA vote isn't a repudiation of everything that is Obama, they are lying or hopelessly deluded. If only I could transform myself into a fly to hear the stuff they're discussing in private.

I was cautiously guarded about Brown's chances of winning. If he won, I didn't think he'd win big.

He won quite a decisive victory, 52% to Coakley's 47% in a state where registered Democrats outnumber Republicans 3 to 1.

He won big.

Giving recent national polls that show that most Americans are identifying themselves as "conservative" over "moderate" or "liberal" this is a trend that ain't gonna quit.

You can interpret the tidal wave two ways. More "Independents / Moderates" are now "Conservatives" or more people overall are solidly rejecting the Obama leftist agenda.

Either interpretation spells the end of the Democrat controlled Congress this Novemeber and the end of Obama's Presidency in 2012.

We're returning to the "fusionism" of the Reagan years, where independents (usually pro-small government, pro-national security libertarians) are standing with conservatives. This is a sucessful formula, and we were stuck with the Presidencies of Clinton and Obama because the GOP largely abandoned this formula under Bush the elder, and even with McCain's RINO candidacy in 2008.

Whatever Republican candidate taps this energy in 2012 is going to win the White House in a landslide.

There in lies the rub.

Attention, Republicans. Go to the Right. Victory lies there.

Nanc: No, we can't take our eyes off of Brown.

Cube: Exactly!

Chuck: Yes, because further insult to injury, we are all just ignorant and unwashed masses. THAT is how the politicians see us, and they are brazen enough to say it to our faces.

Beamish: I was trying not to get my hopes up. But now that Brown has won, I'm laughing my ass off.

Thanks for the numbers. We'll have to keep track of them over the next few days.

And you're right; Republicans, GO RIGHT.

Haven't we conservatives been screaming that for some time now?

Loving every minute of it, but read Misfit's post on Brown getting elected.

Also, read my latest blog post on Webb. I hope it gets the sheeple thinking.

From George F. Will's column in today's WaPo: "With one piece of legislation, President Obama and his congressional allies have done in one year what it took President Lyndon Johnson and his allies two years to do in 1965 and 1966 - revive conservatism. Today, conservatism is rising on the steppingstones of liberal excesses."

I'm not sure that Will is completely accurate. Brown's election was more a vote against the Dems than a vote for the GOP.

We'll know soon enough, I think, in November 2010.

Coakley is done, LOL.

For some strange reason I had this vision that a coakley was some kind of a shellfish.

Steve: Will do!

Angel: For a little bit, maybe...

AOW: Agreed. Voting against someone rather than FOR someone can be dangerous.

If Obama continues the way he has, November will be a bloodbath for the Democrat party. If Obama knows what's good for him/them, he will lay low and get Pelosi and Reid to do the same.

Steve: Cold fish? :)
