Bill Maher: Horrible Human Being

I suppose now that football season is over, Bill Maher has to find someone other than Tim Tebow to mock for their faith.

And the victim in Maher's disgusting crosshairs is the GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney. Or rather, his dead father-in-law.

Maher actually performed a mock posthumous un-baptism of Romney's father-in-law on the air.

I understand that most Christians don't have the same belief structure as Mormons. Most denominations vary in the way they practice, anyway.

This, however, I find disturbing and on par with Maher's black souled status quo:

Mahrer is a jerk.

That's the nicest term I can use to refer to him.

Y'all are nicer than I can be.

You know, AOW, I'd bet you a doughnut... Creme filled, jelly, iced, cake, whatever you'd prefer, that if the frontrunner were a Muslim candidate Maher would be as silent as a church mouse.

No pun intended. Well, maybe.

And I've yet to find a single (modern) Mormon tenant as offensive or violent as a Muslim one.

Human waste of the lowest caliber. Nothing he says surprises me. He is batshit crazy.

What is wrong with this guy? I love comedy and satire, but what Maher does is neither. He is just sick in the head.

Brooke said...

USA: You shouldn't insult batshit or crazy folks. ;)

Cube: He is truly vile.

What a jerk this loser is! Can't he find something better to do with his life?

Test. Test. I don't know what's been going on, but lately none of my postings on blogs has appeared.

Many years ago, he was sometimes funny and an equal opportunity annoyer. Now; Maher = Fail

Ducky's here said...

If he were mocking Muslims you'd be cheering.

Brooke said...

Mr. AOW: Apparently he cannot.

Angel: You, too!

Gator: I see this post, at least.

I don't remember a time that Maher was ever funny.

Ducky: As I said earlier, Mormons today aren't violent or horrific as Muslims are (no religion that is comes to mind), yet you mock the former and defend the later.

Brooke, I'm talking 20 or more years ago. Remember I am an "oldster" compared to you.

Maher needs to give up his absurd, psuedoscientific belief that atheists exist.

Sure, he can pull off irreverence and irreligiousness, but so can people who believe in a god. There's no way to tell the difference without putting faith in Maher's honesty. We need evidence, not faith.

How do we know Maher's not lying and that he actually believes in one or more gods?

Further more, the definition of deity is not exclusive to anyone's particular sect. One person's deity may have more or less defining attributes and abilities that another person's deity.

Pantheists and sun-worshippers, for example, can point to their god all day. And others can observe them in worship and see that they indeed do have an object of worship, a god if you will, that exists. So can the guy that claims his bowling ball is his god.

The guy making the absurd, untestable claim that he's an "atheist" argues against these by saying that these people aren't worshipping "real" gods, as if his beliefs in gods were superior to theirs by demanding they impose more attributes from his own religion upon their gods.

The best they can offer is bigotry, irreverence, intolerance, and irreligiousity towards everyone else's gods, but never can enter in any shred of evidence either that atheists actually exist or that they're not playing semantics games to deny the existence of the pantheist's god or the sun worshipper's god or the bowling ball god.

Atheists don't exist. People who believe atheists exist tend to have difficulties with logic.

Gator, I'm getting there. ;)

Beamish, Bravo! I would love to see Maher's rebuttal. Heh.

I can't listen any more than I can watch Obama or, anymore, Palin, but I"m sure this is a doozy; I'm too aggravated over other stuff today to pile Maher on the list.
He's a HORRID little man, isn't he...and I used to like him! Go figure.
