In this woman's case, I would make an exception. A lifetime of hard labor on a chain gang, and when she can no longer do the work, then she can be executed.
Patrizia Reggiani, aka The Black Widow, had her husband murdered after being left for another woman and outrageously only receiving $650,000 in her divorce settlement.
She was sentenced to 26 years in prison and has now served 13. She is eligible for parole but turned it down because she would have to get a job.
From this source:
'No thanks as it would mean getting a job and I have never worked a day in my life.'
Patrizia, who is serving her sentence in the Milan jail, added: 'I would prefer to stay in my cell and water my plants.'
She also said she wanted to stay inside because she wanted to take care of her pet ferret.
Since when do you get to keep plants and pet frickin' ferrets in jail?
Three hots and a cot, and not even having to lift a finger. Must be nice.

Pretty sad that she gets plants and ferrets huh?
When does the perp get to decide they don't get released? Oh yeah, in Italy, you get to choose.
I thought our justice system seemed more concerned about the perp.
