There is a ton of stuff going on in the world right now, but as this post's title suggests, I'm simply in a blogging funk. I can't get motivated to post on a single thing, aside from my own laziness.
Not a great way to start a new year!
Interestingly (well, to me anyway) this post marks the 2,101 entry at this site. That is a lot of me pontificating and generally mouthing off!
I've only got one client tomorrow. Perhaps I will make a real post then. ;)

The crap in the world can be overwhelming. You have to breaks once in awhile and not think about it. I'm trying to cut down and take a break from the number of blogs and news sites I'm visiting and make some pleasant diversions. Otherwise, I'll get cynical.
Me too.
To much bad news.
Take a break Brooke! Enjoy the weekend.
I've noticed over the past few years that so many bloggers are in a funk -- or have quit altogether.
That's what happens when people lose heart. Right now, I, too, have such a feeling of hopelessness about America's future.
I've been sick for a week, but my blog is such senseless drivel (by design) that it easy to care for.
Gator, AOW: I think that's where I am now. The hits get so fast that I just can't focus on one certain topic.
It's also not hard to be discouraged in such an environment.
Keads: Will do! I have one extra client tomorrow, but two isn't bad. Actually, my next paycheck should be nice! :)
Odie: I love your senseless drivel. :)
I hope you feel better! Hopefully, nothing more than a touch of the flu?
I'm in a blogging funk, too, but I've had it worse than I do now.
I always thought it would be Democrats hurting our blogs but I have the honor of two conservatives out-conservativing themselves at my place. I finally hid the comments and refused more comments at that post. If you're lucky, you missed the 100 comments.
I can't mention certain candidates now without comment moderation......and it's not the lefties causing this ...
:-)
I'm not in a blogging funk. But I've discovered you tube, and now I also have satellite radio on my iPad.
That's a happy cat in that picture!
