Ugh.

I just got out of orientation.

So I wake up this morning and throw up, and start sweating after a night of not feeling horrid, but just not really sleeping well; lots of waking up and taking a while to get back to sleep.

But after seeing this video on the news of a horrific crash that happened not to far from my very own home, I decided to pull my germified self to the computer and share it with you:

Forgot to mention: The driver is a nineteen year old whom police estimated was traveling in excess of 100 mph at 0700 yesterday.

He survived the crash, was air lifted to a trauma center and is currently listed in critical condition.

It kinda looked like a suicide attempt to me.

It is bad enough life is dangerous, then you have crazy people out there looking for a thrill.

I saw this video on FOX news. I made sure my girls saw it if only to impress upon them the ginormous damage that can result
from idiotic driving.

You haven't lived on the edge until you start to teach your teenager to drive. Oy! That's scary.

Poor guy.....it does look like a suicide attempt...what's he doing on there in the first place? Thank GOD nobody else was hurt.
Feel better, Brooke..xxx

I don't know if he could pull something like this if he was really trying!

Texting + speeding, perhaps? I like to think it wasn't something as bad as trying to kill himself.

Thanks, Z. I hate having to call off. Really. I'm starting to feel better, but still noodley and clammy, like after you have a fever?

Cube: My oldest is nine. I'm not looking forward to 15!

I'm not a person who likes to ride... whether it be a plane, a car, a motorcycle, etc. I like to drive. Riding with my girls while they learn to drive has been very hard for me. Everytime I think, will this will be the time I have a stroke? Oy. Enjoy nine.

I can think of better ways to kill yourself if that was the intention. My guess is the kid could not handle the car at that speed. We had a 19 year boy killed in a one car accident here Sat night...over corrected and lost it.

Oh...Hope you feel better :)
Dawn has pluracy.

I tend to agree. There are easier ways!

I hope Dawn gets better right away! Pluracy SUCKS!

aw so sad..thank God your'e only sick and not on that highway girl!

Most 19 year old kids wouldn't have the skill to control a car going 100 mph. Looking at the mechanism and force involved, I think it's more likely he's being kept alive as an organ donor. They will list them as critical.

My question is...

Was this a police dashboard cam (no timestamps so it doesn't look official) or was there really someone just filming traffic randomly and caught this wreck?

The latest: The family doesn't want the kid's status released to the public but the police are saying that the teen was cited in the past for possession and speeding. They suspect that there was no alcohol, but drugs involved in this crash.

That actually is a real camera from Sugarcreek Twp. police; the officer was out on a call to look for a tire in the highway when his dashcam happened to pick this up.
