Put your foot down man, it's not the ground spinning!

On second thought, just lay down right there and sleep it off.

Booze, gravity and the equilibrium, they are bitches.

That will symbolic of the democrat party after November 4th.

He'll wind up in my ER for 12 hours or so to sleep it off.

My evil twin inside me kept hoping he'd get hit by a car.

USA: Yeah. That gravity is what'll getcha.

Chuck: No doubt.

An aside: I have never worked med/surg before and I find that my floor is the only one that 'doesn't have the budget' for staffing. The other day I was the ONLY PCA there with 22 pts and the call light ringing my phone literally before I could get it back in my pocket from the previous call. All that, and I'm still supposed to get certain tasks accomplished, like I&O, collecting trays, checking inconts, taking out linen, ect.

I don't feel like this is safe or fair, but being so new I'm not sure if I'm just overwhelmed or if there's anything I can do. I said something to mgt. and they just said "tell me about it, I know."

Steve: I know. Heh.

If you're going to get that shit-faced, you should just stay home. Geez.

Re: work
Give it time. If you're still overwhelmed then you can complain.
