High-Tech Islam?

Unbelievable. From this source:

BANGKOK, FEBRUARY 1 - A machine for high-tech ritual ablutions form Muslims to save water. The invention came from a Malaysia based company which promises savings of 80%. With 1.7 billion Muslims in the world, which should pray five times per day including washing their face, arms and legs before kneeling towards Mecca, how much water is wasted in the faucets that are left running? This is the question that the Malaysian company, AACE Technologies, asked. The company has presented a machine designed to assist Muslims in the ritual, allowing them to save on water consumption. "During the pilgrimage of Hajj, 2 million people use 50 million litres of water per day. If they used our machine, they would save 40 million", explained Anthony Gomez, the manager of AACE Technologies. The product, with a height of 165 centimetres and able to use only 1.3 litres per ablution, will be introduced on the market in 6 months time, after a design and development phase that cost 2 years, and an investment of 2.5 million dollars. The emirate of Dubai has reportedly already expressed its interest. The price of the new machine has not yet been fixed. According to indications from the manufacturer, it should run for between 3,000 and 4,000 dollars (2,200-2,900 euros).

Well, I guess 'going green' and conserving some water will make up for all that murdering and killing.

At least it will in the eyes of leftists, anyway.

Too bad the koran doesn't call for the ritualistic washing of armpits as well.

Muslims are quite environmentally conscious, prominent Muslims like Osama and Obama are concerned about global warming.

These people and companies who claim the earth’s environment is their first concern are so full of beans. Their pocketbook is the primary issue. I don’t have a problem with that; I just wish they’d be honest about it. For example, if we really cared about Sharks, we could feed them Muslims (pointed toward Mecca, of course). That we don’t do that tends to show that we really don’t care about earth’s creatures. Similarly, there are 1.7 million alligators in Florida, and easily 15 times that number of idiots. We have an abundance of politicians while piranhas are struggling to survive in the Potomac.

So my question is, “Do we care about a balance in nature, or not?”

I was thinking that investing in a toilet paper company to serve the Islamic countries might make some cash, til I remembered they don't use it. Maybe an artificial hand company?

Cube: Or the ritualistic use of deodorant! LOL!

Chuck: Oh, so terrorist murders are to reduce the amount of CO2 that we kuffars exhale. They do care about the environment!

Mustang: LOL!

You are correct, it's all about the money. GE, who owns a good chunk of the MSM which promotes global warming endlessly stands to profit hugely if Congress passes legislation for 'green technology.'

Guess who will get those contracts?

Angel: I'll bet.

Hermit: ROTFLOL!

Krystal: Yes, great comments here!

LL: Thanks for the visit!

Worried about saving water, are they?

Why don't they just cut out the frequency of their ablutions? Until the Iranian Revolution, they didn't pay much attention to ablutions anyway -- so Nonie Darwish told me in an interview.
