My dad is a 'Nam veteran. I always loved this picture. It's a touching illustration of the sacrifice those servicemembers made.I hope to be able to take him to see the Wall one day before it's to late.
So many of my generation fought in Vietnam. Visiting that memorial takes my breath away.
My husband's father was a Vietnam Vet; he has since passed on. I got the chance to visit the traveling wall here in Ohio. Even though it is a scale model the size of it was still staggering.
