Conspiracy?

Get out your tin foil and let me know if you have any thoughts on this.

From this site:

A grim report circulating in the Kremlin today written by Russia’s Northern Fleet is reporting that the United States has ordered a complete media blackout over North Korea’s torpedoing of the giant Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by the World’s largest offshore drilling contractorTransocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., that has caused great loss of life, untold billions in economic damage to the South Korean economy, and an environmental catastrophe to the United States.

I've got my serious doubts as to the veracity of the story.

But, hey, we do live in surreal times.

Anything is possible within the Obama Zone.

Not credible.

Most of North Korea's navy is "brown water." It just doesn't have the power to project far off of its own coast.

And one of their klunky, worse than obsolete Romeo-class submarines wouldn't make it over all the way to the Gulf of Mexico without a deathwish and hella fuel stops.

I'm thinking industrial accident. If there were foul play involved in the oil rig explosion, there's plenty of Americans who possess the twin left-wing traits of astronomical stupidity and lust for violence that we can pool suspects from without outsourcing left-wing crazy to North Korea.

Read that. I'm inclined to view it as b.s. That's not to say that Obama isn't covering up something here !

I've got to say I'm skeptical also. Not due to any trust of Obama but because I do not think this is within NK's capability nor do I trust much that comes out of the Kremlin

Thanks for giving it serious thought, Beamish.

For your next trick, other than shutting Sister Sarah's pie hole for a considerable time is there an upside to this unmitigated disaster.

Better scratch, "Drill, baby, drill" off your Bagger literature.

I see Ducky missed my snark with the tinfoil comment. So much for reading and comprehending a post, huh, leftists?

Here's the real scenario: While Obama takes out credit on the promise of growth he will kill by canceling drilling we can all merrily fiddle while Rome burns.

Thanks again for erasing any doubt whatsoever that you are a buffoon, Ducky.

And the 'bagger' vulgarity isn't welcome here.

Oh, and some of have jobs... Someone has to pay for Obamunism programs.

C'mon Ducky. I know better than to try to pin oil spills on governments.

One of the largest oil spills in history, when the left-wing socialist government of Saddam Hussein dumped 11 million barrels of oil into the Persian Gulf, merely created inspiration for large gatherings of your fellow left-wing imbeciles in protests against taking down that government.

OH, Ducky, you NEVER let us down...I was waiting for that comment; if there's a problem after years of drilling successfully, SHUT IT DOWN...CLOSE IT DOWN!! MAKE A LAW, SUE THE PEOPLE EVEN IF IT WAS AN ACCIDENT...you never disappoint!
Beamish, you're right about the Hussein dump....

Ducky's getting around, isn't he? He must have been in the wrong line on his way to being born unto Earth and, when they said "little oar," he heard "little whore," and so began his career of being a useless little bitch that even Andrew Dice Clay would say wasn't worth his time.

LOL!

This happens with some regularity with Duck, I've noticed.

Ducky has to post things absolutely and predictably devoid of rational thought, otherwise people might begin to doubt he's a leftist.

Beamish sums it up nicely with him mentioning the Whiskey class diesel subs (they also have Foxtrot class diesel subs as well) but are equally limited in range. If DPRK attempted such an attack, our satellites would have detected their little misadventure before they could leave their littoral patrol areas.

However (comma) unsure if they have a nuclear submarine. If they do, then the attack is possible, but not probable.

Fact: We've let down our ASW guard more than ever before.

Steve Harkonnen said...

Correction: Beamish said Romeo class vice Whiskey, but the DPRK has all three classes. Regardless, they're all in terrible shape. The Russians used them in the 50's and would take them from Murmansk to the Black Sea via Russia's rivers, tributaries and canals inland.

Most of the Norks sub fleet are Romeo-class subs, all obsolete noisy pieces of shit.

With a range of 9,000 miles if they're lucky, they'd run out of gas before making anywhere near a friendly fueling port on the way to the Gulf Of Mexico from the Sea of Japan.

Brooke said...

As long as they don't have or were loaned a more modern sub?

I'd wager it was some nutcase eco-terrorist before the North Koreans.
