"The militants killed the seven-year-old boy in Heratiyan village of the district, on charges of espionage for Afghan government," Ahmadi said, citing information provided to police by relatives. 

Now that takes courage, huh? It's doubtful that the boy was a 'spy', though possible. Even so, killing a seven-year-old child is extra-special, ROP. It must have taken a lot of courage and 'allahu akbar's to get that holy job done.

The report says that inmates converted after learning about Islam from other inmates or their family, to obtain support and protection in a group with a powerful identity and for material advantages. One inmate quoted in the report said: “I’ve got loads of close brothers here. They share with you, we look out for each other.”

The Free Gaza group has been behind several attempts to break the Israeli sea embargo on Hamas. The latest attempt, under the guise of sending humanitarian aid, was foiled Saturday when the Israeli Navy intercepted the “Rachel Corrie” ship before it could approach the Gaza Coast.
The Perdena organization has donated $366,000 to Free Gaza, which has organized several attempts to break the Israeli sea embargo on Hamas-controlled Gaza. Earlier in the week, the Mavi Marmara ship’s terrorist "activists" opened fire and brutally beat Navy commandos, despite Free Gaza promises that there would be no violence. Free Gaza spokeswoman Greta Berlin has charged that the IDF edited and falsified videos clearly showing that the passengers on the ship initially assaulted commandos before they reached the decks.
“We have two Imam Raufs," Deborah Burlingame, the sister of the American Airlines pilot whose hijacked plane struck the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, told the New York Post. It’s a “possible compromise to avoid greater harm,” the statement says. [...]

Dr. Lainie Friedman Ross, one of the statement’s authors, compared it to an ear piercing. It wouldn’t involve the removal of skin, instead it would be more like “a pin prick, a drop of blood.” As she described it, the “nick” would be ritualistic and symbolic. Ross strongly disagreed with an Equality Now press release saying that the Academy’s statement “essentially promotes female genital mutilation.” Much of the five-page statement takes care to emphasize the Academy’s opposition to “all types of female genital cutting that pose risks of physical or psychological harm,” as well as the need for education to eradicate the demand for such procedures. “In an ideal world, there would be no female genital cutting,” said Ross, but we clearly do not live in an ideal world.“If you just tell people ‘no,’ they go elsewhere,” she explained, adding that a “nick” should be seen as an “option that’s not ideal but is better than its alternatives.”

Are you freaking kidding me? The AMERICAN Academy of Pediatrics is willing to legitimize the barbaric, misogynistic practice of female genital mutilation by doing a 'mock up' cutting?

First of all, I don't give one shit about "building trust" with "immigrant families", ie MUSLIMS most likely from the most backwater African places, as this is where FGM is typically practiced. Although FGM predates Islam, it is in the Koran and therefore not only some archaic social custom.

And why compromise on a practice that is "not ideal but better than it's alternatives?" No kidding. IDEAL would be labeling the practice barbarous and condemning it. Instead we have a bleeding heart liberal idiot mentality that is incapable of realizing that some cultures are INFERIOR. Now, instead of rejecting misogyny, we let the misogynist simply practice a 'lite' version of it.

Also, I have a hard time believing that an "immigrant family" would settle for anything less than fully mutilating their daughter if they need FGM.

Here's a though... In AMERICA, why don't we charge someone who allows FGM to be performed on their  daughter with child abuse and jail them?  (Which is a lot nicer than what I would do.)

Finally, FGM is not the same thing as male circumcision. While it is true that there is a Jewish/Christian connotation to circumcision, it does not leave the penis mangled; the male is still able to function properly and enjoy sex. FGM is a way of insuring that the little woman in question doesn't get too hot and bothered and stray from her 'husband'.

Symbolizing this mutilation with a "nick" is it's own act of barbarism.

First we have a twelve-year-old girl winning a divorce from her 80-year-old 'husband.' Yes, your eyes are functioning properly and you did read that right.

Likely this divorce happened only because the case managed to catch international attention, otherwise this little girl would be bringing her 'spouse' his little blue pill so he can piously follow the example of the Pedophile Mohammad:

A 12-year-old Saudi Arabian girl has won a divorce from her 80-year-old husband in a landmark case that may see the minimum age of marriage raised in the country for the first time.

The girl, who has not been named, was married to her father's cousin last year in her home town of Buraidah, near Riyadh, Saudi's capital, the Times of London reports.

Her father was paid a $23,000 dowry.

A 6-year-old Afghan boy recruited in 2007 was told that his suicide belt would "explode into flowers."

The U.S. Army on Thursday withdrew an invitation to a Christian evangelist to speak at a Pentagon prayer service next month following an outcry over his references to Islam as a violent religion.

Franklin Graham, the son of famed evangelist Billy Graham, said in a statement he regretted the army's decision and would keep praying for U.S. troops.

The invitation prompted a harsh reaction, including from a prominent U.S. Muslim group that said Graham's appearance before Pentagon personnel would send the wrong message as the United States fights wars in Muslim countries.

In an interview last year with CNN, Graham said "true Islam" was too violent to be practised in the United States.

"You can't beat your wife. You cannot murder your children if you think they've committed adultery or something like that, which they do practise in these other countries," he said. "I don't agree with the teachings of Islam and I find it to be a very violent religion."

Mr. Graham is absolutely correct. In a Western society you can't do any of the things that the Koran, Hadith and so-called Muslim scholars sanctify. Muslims Import Child Abuse to Canada.

The marriages are permitted under Sharia Law.

In classified documents, Canadian visa officer Steve Bulmer said he refused to allow one Pakistani man to sponsor his 15-year-old bride in August 2009.

"I can find no section (of law) that states the marriage is 'invalid' or 'void,'" Bulmer wrote in e-mails obtained by lawyer Richard Kurland under Access of Information. “I am afraid the age does not invalidate the marriage even if it is illegal to marry.”

Abdul Hameed, of the Canadian embassy in Islamabad, said child marriages are not valid in Canada.

A Glendale man accused of slaying his daughter in an "honor killing" will not face the death penalty.

After sparring with the suspect's defense attorney over its death penalty review process, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office has said it will not seek death for Faleh Almaleki, 49.

The Iraqi immigrant is accused of slaying his daughter, 20-year-old Noor Almaleki, for being "too Westernized."

Police say he used his Jeep Cherokee to run down his daughter and another woman in a Peoria parking lot Oct. 20. Noor Almaleki later died of her injuries.

Almaleki is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault and two counts of leaving the scene of a serious accident. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The decision not to seek the death penalty comes after Almaleki's attorney, Billy Little, a public defender, asked a judge to take special precautions to ensure the County Attorney's Office wouldn't wrongly seek the death penalty because Almaleki is a Muslim.

Little requested that the office make public the process it uses to determine whether to seek capital punishment.

"An open process provides some level of assurance that there is no appearance that a Christian is seeking to execute a Muslim for racial, political, religious or cultural beliefs," Little wrote, referring to County Attorney Andrew Thomas' Christian faith.

According to the council, it had to act quickly. "Although the money was handed over in cash, it was well-spent. Everyone was happy afterwards. We also gave five Moroccans a gift voucher for a book shop afterwards as a thank-you," says a spokeswoman.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art quietly pulled images of the Prophet Mohammed from its Islamic collection and may not include them in a renovated exhibition area slated to open in 2011, The Post has learned.

The museum said the controversial images -- objected to by conservative Muslims who say their religion forbids images of their holy founder -- were "under review."

Critics say the Met has a history of dodging criticism and likely wants to escape the kind of outcry that Danish cartoons of Mohammed caused in 2006.

"This is typical of the Met -- trying to avoid any controversy," said a source with inside knowledge of the museum.

The Met currently has about 60 items from its 60,000-piece Islamic collection on temporary display in a corner of its vast second-floor Great Hall while larger galleries are renovated. But its three ancient renderings of Mohammed are not among them.

"We have a very small space at the moment in which to display the whole sweep of Islamic art," said spokeswoman Egle Zygas. "They didn't fit the theme of the current installation."

This is probably a toss-up of the insane politically correct need to never offend Islam, and the desire not to have some crazy Islamist rush into the gallery shooting, self-detonating, or attempting to hack up people with an axe over a mere image, as I posted on recently.

After all, we all know what happens when Islam is offended.

The Met is pulling historic works of art in order to satisfy an insane group of violent thugs hiding behind a religion.

DETROIT - A Nigerian man accused of trying to ignite an explosive on a Detroit-bound U.S. airliner on Christmas appeared before a judge for the first time Friday, against a backdrop of protesters who stood outside the courthouse waving American flags and denouncing acts of terror.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's arraignment was brief — less than five minutes — and a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf. He said little, telling the judge simply that he understood the charges against him.

(Notice the complete lack of the word "MUSLIM." We get that he's a Nigerian, instead. Riiiight.)

The guy with the roasted nuts entered a NOT GUILTY plea in court. I just cannot wait to see how he explains off possessing more PETN than Richard Reid and an incendiary device, and how he must have accidentally char-broiled his boys.

But wait, it gets better! Abdulmutallab's lawyer is suspected of forging documents on behalf of her 'clients' in previous terror cases.

If the name sounds familiar, that’s because you’ve read about Siefer on this site, before. During the Detroit terror cell case, she represented Karim Koubriti, an Islamic terrorist in a cell, which plotted to blow up the U.S. Air Force Base in Turkey, where U.S. AWACS and Israeli F-16s are based and from where they took off. They also plotted to blow up hotels and casinos in Las Vegas and planned to detonate in Disneyland.

During the course of her “representation” of terrorist Koubriti, Siefer and her fellow public defender, Richard Helfrick a/k/a Rick Helfrick (who will probably also assist her in representing Abdulmutallab), stole the stationery of the then-Chief Judge of the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Lawrence Zatkoff, forged Zatkoff’s name, and sent it to another attorney in the case, accusing him of faking invoices (which wasn’t true). That makes at least several federal crimes that I can think of–theft, forgery, impersonating a federal official, mail fraud, etc. but they got away with it.

In an interview, Judge Gerald Rosen, who presided over the Detroit terror cell case, admitted to me that Siefer and Helfrick forged the documents. Then, he berated me for daring to ask about it, saying his court “deals in serious issues.” I guess attorneys in a federal case committing several crimes and impersonating a federal judge, just aren’t serious.

The aim of one company that blends high technology and behavioral psychology is hinted at in its name, WeCU -- as in "We See You."

The system that Israeli-based WeCU Technologies has devised and is testing in Israel projects images onto airport screens, such as symbols associated with a certain terrorist group or some other image only a would-be terrorist would recognize, company CEO Ehud Givon said.

The logic is that people can't help reacting, even if only subtly, to familiar images that suddenly appear in unfamiliar places. If you strolled through an airport and saw a picture of your mother, Givon explained, you couldn't help but respond.

The reaction could be a darting of the eyes, an increased heartbeat, a nervous twitch or faster breathing, he said.

The WeCU system would use humans to do some of the observing but would rely mostly on hidden cameras or sensors that can detect a slight rise in body temperature and heart rate. Far more sensitive devices under development that can take such measurements from a distance would be incorporated later.

If the sensors picked up a suspicious reaction, the traveler could be pulled out of line for further screening.

"One by one, you can screen out from the flow of people those with specific malicious intent," Givon said.

Some critics have expressed horror at the approach, calling it Orwellian and akin to "brain fingerprinting."

For civil libertarians, attempting to read a person's thoughts comes uncomfortably close to the future world depicted in the movie "Minority Report," where a policeman played by Tom Cruise targets people for "pre-crimes," or merely thinking about breaking the law.

LIE DETECTORS

One system being studied by Homeland Security is called the Future Attribute Screening Technology, or FAST, and works like a souped-up polygraph.

It would subject people pulled aside for additional screening to a battery of tests, including scans of facial movements and pupil dilation, for signs of deception. Small platforms similar to the balancing boards used in the Nintendo Wii would help detect fidgeting.

At a public demonstration of the system in Boston last year, project manager Robert Burns explained that people who harbor ill will display involuntary physiological reactions that others -- such as those who are stressed out for ordinary reasons, such as being late for a plane -- don't.

The system could be made to work passively, scanning people as they walk through a security line, according to Burns.

Field testing of the system, which will cost around $20 million to develop, could begin in 2011, The Boston Globe said in a story about the demonstration. Addressing one concern of civil libertarians, Burns said the technology would delete data after each screening.
