There's NO Bias In The Media... (Cough)

Take your blood-pressure meds... Democracy Front Line has a blood boiler for sure!

The text of the post is below:

As we wander around Chatswood, Hala and Hanifeh talk of the abuse they have suffered”

Haha - ya gotta love it! My God, traumatised for life ‘cos someone called you a bitch! He didnt even say ‘Muslim bitch!’ Asked ‘What are you doing here?’ The horror, the horror! You don’t know whether to laugh or be very very angry, do you?

Hanifeh tells me of crossing the road and having a taxidriver stop and scream out “bitch”. Of waiting at her child’s school absentmindedly gazing at a poster on the wall only to be jolted by a parent demanding why she was there. “Do you mind?” the parent snapped. “What are you doing here?”’

I was pleased to see that most comments were negative (including mine) and that readers clearly saw what a crock this is.

How do you measure racism? Alecia Simmonds dons a hijab and goes to Chatswood.

People were always going to stare. I’m a freckled redhead wrapped in the folds of a cloak and hijab, hobbling awkwardly through Chatswood mall. My two Islamic female companions assure me I look very natural.

‘Natural’ to be wrapped from head to toe on male orders? ‘Natural’ to wear this freak garb in a country where the beach is king? Whatever ya reckon. Yes, people are always going to stare because any person in his/her right mind knows damn well how alien hijabs etc are to a free country. If they dont like it, perhaps they should go to a country where the people welcome women who resemble walking garbage bags.

I am spending the day as their humble apprentice, observing the lines and contours of the city which they map every day from beneath the veil.

The expedition begins one Saturday a few weeks ago in a small home in the western suburbs. I’m met by Hala, a boisterous, stridently independent 16-year-old with a penchant for football, and Hanifeh Trad, a writer and mother of nine who is married to wellknown Muslim communtiy spokesman, Keysar Trad.

Isn’t this the wife who proposed to another woman on her husbands behalf? Way to go.

Our mission is to venture into a socially conservative area of Sydney dressed in cloaks and hijabs. Deep within the heart of whiteness, we will record the reactions to our presence.

For Hala and Hanifeh, wearing the hijab is an everyday expression of faith. For me, it’s a cross-cultural experiment. The fact that Hala and Hanifeh are excited about the mission makes it impossible to refuse.

We meet to decide where to go. I suggest Bankstown, an idea dismissed by Hanifeh. “It’s too easy,” she says. “There are too many Muslims there for us to be an issue.”

Liverpool, similarly, is “like Lebanon”. “We need to go where all the skips are,” Hala announces. Hanifeh agrees. “Perhaps we should go around where you live – Surry Hills, Bondi, Newtown … or Broadway.”

If we go to the inner-city, Hala recommends we be brazen and fearless.

“Go to the shops and ask for things, don’t be afraid to ask for directions or the time. Just make sure when you’re asking you look tough. You’ve got to treat racists like dogs, because they know when you’re scared. Don’t look scared.”

Have you ever read such tripe? You really have to wonder what the hell goes on in the heads of people like this fool.

As I listen, my leftie liberal heartland crumbles before me. What, to me, is the warm bosom of the Newtown soviet is to them a white ghetto. It’s a place where something as benign as asking for directions can unleash a torrent of abuse. I didn’t want to go to Newtown because of my fear of bumping into friends, so we agree to buy tickets to Chatswood.

We spend the day talking of love and football. Hala confesses her attraction to AFL players and Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. She declares that one day she will be either a philosophy professor or a journalist.

She could easily be a journalist, it doesnt require much native intelligence. Her attitudes are spot-on - lie when you dont like the truth, make something out of nothing, make false accusations, slant whatever you write to match your own bias — we have another Pilger in the making –

As we wander around Chatswood, Hala and Hanifeh talk of the abuse they have stuffered. Hanifeh tells me of crossing the road and having a taxidriver stop and scream out “bitch”. Of waiting at her child’s school absentmindedly gazing at a poster on the wall only to be jolted by a parent demanding why she was there. “Do you mind?” the parent snapped. “What are you doing here?” No one asks us to go home, but the people we speak with make it subtly clear that Chatswood is not our home. On entering shops, welcoming dances are awkwardly performed as people grin and leap to offer us assistance.

Amazing!! The inhabitants of this middle-class Sydney suburb are surprised to see three slaves - sorry, ‘women’ - in black shrouds. ‘Welcoming dances’ - the SMH should be strung up for publishing this rubbish.

These are pantomimes of politeness, as well-intentioned as they were exclusionary. A simple request for directions to a coffee shop has three women offering to take us to their favourite hot-chocolate bar, while a mere glance at some perfume has an eager shop assistant leading us on a guided tour of her shop’s best fragrances.

Politeness is racist and exclusionary huh? - too bad the women didnt say what they really thought and give the cow something to write about –

It reminds me of travelling abroad, where the more effusive people are in their displays of friendliness, the more foreign you feel in their world.

Hala leaves Chatswood disappointed.

Yeah, disappointed that she didnt have her veils ripped off, that she wasnt insulted by racist Skips — she’s a good match for Trad.

“You should have gone up to more people and asked them strange questions.” I explain the day was about documenting Muslim women’s experiences of discrimination. “No way,” she retorts. “You’ve got to ask people random things, shake them up a bit and then you can see if they say something racist.”

If you dont find ‘racism’ on the first attempt, try try again —

Her idea, that racism simmers beneath the surface, haunts me.

Australians have had to tolerate ME imports like Trad and his cow, they are lucky that ‘racism’ is not translated into more direct actions.

We didn’t experience any hostility but what if, next time, we took things to a different level? What if we went to a bank to ask for a loan? Or went for a job interview?

“There’s a difference,” as Hanifeh’s husband Keysar had said earlier, “between doing it for a day, knowing you’ll take it off, and doing it out of faith. “You try turning up to work in a veil an
see how differently people treat you.”

Alecia Simmonds

Have you experienced racism in Sydney? Tell us in the forums at radar.smh.com.au.

SAME BUT DIFFERENT

Muslims were regarded with increased suspicion after Osama bin Laden became a household name and public figures raced to demonise “men of Middle Eastern appearance”. Who could forget Federal Liberal MP Danna Vale saying Australia was in danger of aborting itself “almost out of existence” and becoming a Muslim nation?

Noureddine Bader, 26, wants to set the record straight. “We don’t want to make everybody Muslim,” he says.

“[Muslims] have common ground [with other Australians] but my religion is between me and God. It’s nothing to do with you.”

Bader, who works with young people at the Lebanese-Muslim Association, says he’s seen significant change in his community. “After September 11, things became worse with discrimination, but at the same time, it became better in a way. The Muslim community woke up a bit [to say], ‘That’s not us.’ ”

Others, such as Mustapha Kara-Ali, 29, criticise some of the older, first generation community leaders. “[Their] messages ripple down to the grassroots to reinforce the siege mentality. The leadership comes just as effectively from the second generation,” he says.

Sanna Trad, Keysar and Hanifeh’s daughter, wants to enter politics when she finishes her HSC. The 17-year-old quickly dismisses stereotypes of the Muslim woman — she is a “loudmouth” who knows “too much about sport”.

Unlike some politicians, Trad practises what she preaches. She visited Cronulla after last December’s riots. “I thought, ‘Don’t put yourself in any danger’ [but] on the Sunday [after the riot], Dad and I went along to carols in the park and everyone was really nice.

People from Cronulla and Bankstown should meet each other and hear what they have to say.” It’s a good time to start. Earlier this year, a study of Victorian schoolkids found more than half weren’t sure about the difference between Muslims and terrorists. The Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission, meanwhile, notes that day-to-day harassment of Muslims has increased. Women wearing the hijab were more easily recognised and likely to be harassed.

Ali Abdulla, a youth worker, tells stories of young people who have trouble looking for work because of their name or the way they look. “They feel it is discrimination though they can’t really prove it,” he says.

No Friggin' Way!

Miami-Dade County and the FAA have been negotiating futilely for years over replacing the Opa-locka Airport's control tower. The airport, sick of the lack of results, have moved pre-preemptively to build a new one. It will take three years and cost $11 million.

What will the controllers do in the meanwhile? They will be climbing a ladder to a trailer perched on top of cargo containers that have been welded together.

''I guess you can call it a piece of modern art,'' said Charles Danger, Miami-Dade County's top building official. ``This is not a structure that meets any code whatsoever.''

The really bad part is that the entire airfield cannot be seen from the "tower," so visual confirmation of taxing planes cannot be made.

No, thanks.

Blogger Back Up and Suicide Bombers Who Think

Well, Blogger is finally back up, so I can post now. Yea!

I cannot remember where I found Amilimani.com, but I suspect is was probably from Elmer's Brother.

Amil has some fascinating articles, like this one:
It concerns the Iranian President Ahmadinejad and his goal to bring about the Mahdi.

Another great article is The Last Will And Testament of a Suicide Bomber: It is the fictional account of a young man who rejects the fallacies of Islam.

In the name of God the Merciful, the Compassionate

I, Hasan, the son of Akbar, resident of the village of Saraab, being of sound mind and resolute belief in Muhammad, praise be upon him (PBUH) and the 12 Imams, the Pure Ones, declare this here as my last and final will and testament.

I have found it my sacred duty to answer the call and volunteer as suicide martyr for any mission that our Olama (religious leaders) assign to this humble servant.

I have given the matter great thoughts and have consulted extensively with our village Agha (the mullah). Agha, with patience and understanding allowed me to ask many questions and replied to all my inquiries. In order to assist other brothers who may have similar questions as they contemplate to offer themselves in the service of our infallible faith, I hereby report the essence of my conversation with Agha.

Me. Agha, I offer Your Person my infinite gratitude for giving me a private audience before I head for Tehran and enlist in the Martyrs Brigade. I humbly request that you accept this sum as insignificant offering, representing my entire worldly possession, as a token of my gratitude for your console and time. It is the payment I received for selling my donkey – my soul worldly possession of any value. I gave my hoe, shovel and pick to my elderly parents so that, with the help of my two sisters, they can work our allotted plot and manage to survive. I have only taken enough money from the sale of the donkey to pay for the buss fare to Tehran…

Mullah. (Quickly tucks the notes under his cloak) and says no need, no need for this, my son. The very fact that you are volunteering proves that you place no value whatsoever on this fistful of dust, this worthless world, and you are aiming for eternal life in Allah’s paradise. If you insist, I'll accept your offering and will pray for your pure soul.

Me. Thank you Agha for your kindness. I am particularly grateful to you to allow me to unburden myself, unreservedly, of many questions and be ready to wing my way to the next world with absolute certitude regarding our sacred faith. To do so, demands that I ask my questions without any reservation and Your Person have allowed me to do so. I am eternally grateful to you Agha…

Mullah. Yes, yes, yes. Please go ahead.

Me. I am committed to embark on my mission and nothing is going to prevent me from so doing. Yet, over the years, listening to the olama, your own sermons and what I have learned from the Quran, the Hadith (sayings of the Prophet) and the Sunna (the examples set by Muhammad) have made me think. Most troubling of all has been the whispering of an evil man, my tent-mate in the army from which I was recently discharged. This man never said his five times a day obligatory prayer, he never consulted the Quran or even did not observe the fast. To the contrary, at every opportunity he raised questions about our infallible faith that caused me great anguish…

Mullah. Go ahead son. Get to the point. Realize that I am a busy man and I can only spend so much time with any one person. But, since you are a very special believer and you are on your way to offer yourself in the service of our sacred faith, I will take the time and make every effort to relief your anguish.

Me. Thank you, Your Person, I will try and organize my thoughts. Yet, you will pardon me if I end up jumping all over the map from one topic to the next as they pop up in my head…

Mullah. Go ahead, go ahead. Time is of the essence.

Me. My motive for volunteering is pure. It is my duty to give the life that Allah has given me for his faith. I am also interested about the promised paradise. I understand that by offering my life I will be admitted into paradise of indescribable magnificence where rivers of milk and honey course through the endless place, choicest fruits of all kinds adorn the trees and all imaginable nice things are for the residents…

Mullah. Yes, yes, yes. I know all about these. Get to the point.

Me. Well, Your Person, I am truly ashamed to ask troubling questions, most of which have been implanted in my mind by this evil tent-mate. For instance, I am confused about

the promised paradise and the reward for a martyr – I mean the promised 72 virgins…

Mullah. Yes, yes, go on. What about it?

Me. I hope you forgive me. But, with your permission I will try and lump my questions about the 72 virgins. Would I be married to all 72 of them? I know that we are allowed four wives on earth and as many seeghe (temporary wife) as we wish or we can afford. In this accursed earth, not only I couldn't afford one virgin for wife, even a widow declined my parents’ proposal to marry me. Furthermore, I couldn't even afford to have one seeghe. So, you understand that I am a healthy 26-year old man and I find this promise most alluring to me…

Mullah. Yes I understand. So what is the problem?

Me. Well, as I said, will all 72 of them be my wives? Would I be able to divorce one or all of them? Can I punish them if they misbehave, like women are wont to do? Having the same 72 virgins forever is a long long time. Could I get rid of them and get some new ones? Would I be able to choose my virgins from a lineup or will they be assigned to me, whether I like them or not? You see, Your Person, I hate to confess this. I have a hankering for special kind of women – the blue-eye-blonds, the infidel European and Americans. Would they be in heaven, would Allah make exception for them since they are so beautiful? Allah can make exceptions, the scripture say, “He does as he wills and ordains as he wishes.” The type of women I am talking about I have seen in a couple of movies are the ones who get my juices bubbling, pardon me for my impertinences Agha . I don't care much for scrawny shriveled women like the ones in this village. See what I mean?

Mullah. Son, all these questions are irrelevant. Why do you think it is called paradise? It is just that, paradise. It means that you get your heart’s desire, since you have earned admission in it.

Me. Thank you, thank you, Your Person. I knew that you would answer my questions satisfactorily. Now, the older of my sisters is 24 and not married. There is no suitor in sight and chances are that she will go to her grave virgin. She was seriously thinking about volunteering for the Martyr Brigade and going with me to Tehran. We talked about it and I told her about the 72 virgins that I will be getting. That was a mistake, I believe. She asked what she would get for her sacrifice. I had to wreck my brains to come up with an answer. I didn't think that she would get 72 men. Because, Allah forbid and I do beg your forgiveness for what I am about to say next. If a woman serves 72 men that would be like a brothel, right, Your Person? That just doesn't seem right and it is not very practical for one woman satisfying the lust of 72 men. I told her that she would probably be one of the 72 virgins that another man would get, since given the shortage of men in this village and our poverty she is likely to go to the grave virgin anyway. She became furious and almost slapped me on the face.

Mullah. Yes. That’s women for you. They are so feeble and emotional. And at the slightest thing they get provoked and become completely irrational— best not to engage them in any serious discourse. They are childlike, even when they are old. It is for this reason that Allah has ordained in the Quran that men are rulers over women. Women are not equal of men. Women need wise and strong rulers to keep them in line. Otherwise the whole world would be ruined. Besides, what if women don't like what they get? The scripture say that women’s testimony in the court of law is worth half of that of a man’s, no prophet of Allah has been a woman, no Imams has been a woman, no Ayatollah, not even a mullah has ever been a woman. They just have to know their rank and their place and be grateful to men who care for them, support them and feed them.

Me. Excuse my impertinence Your Person, but my mother is a woman and she is by far more rational, calmer and wiser than my father. How could that be if women are by design inferior, emotional and childlike who need men to manage them?

Mullah. Son, you are showing signs of wavering in your faith. These are not my sayings; they are the scripture, the very words of Allah himself. Tonight say extra prayers and repent. I, for my part, shall pray for you so that you do not succumb to the whisperings of the accursed Satan.

Me. Thank you, thank you a thousand times Your Person. But the trouble is with my brains. It keeps raising all kinds of questions. For instance, this tent-mate of mine once asked me, “Why Imam Jafar is called ‘the Truthful?’ Was it because the other eleven Imams were liars?” See how troubling the question can be. I told him that the other Imams must have practiced ketmaan (secretiveness) and tagyyeh (denying) in instances that could cause trouble. They were not actually liars. They exercised wisdom and practiced what is prescribed in the scripture. Am I correct Your Person?

Mullah. Yes and no. You are correct that the Pure Imams were not liars. Yet, it is not up to you to judge the Pure Imams in any way that impugns their character and life. It is not up to you to justify what the Prophet or the Pure Imams did. They are in a special realm of Allah and they are not subject to the same rules that govern us, the sinful mortals.

Me. Yes, yes Your Person. That answers great many of my questions. Studying the Sunna baffled me about some of the things the Prophet did. In his late fifties, for instance, the Prophet married the nine-year-old daughter of his friend and best disciple. No ordinary man of that advanced age should bed down with a tender child of nine. Right?

Mullah. Son, I see that you are a troubled soul. Your faith is tested…

Me. But Your Person, Allah has given me a brain to think with and I can not help but think about things. If I do not use my brains, then what good is it? Why Allah gave me brains in the first place, if I am not to use it?

Mullah. Yes, Allah has given you brains to use it to serve him, love him and obey him and follow the dictates of the Seal of the Prophets. Yet, there is a price to pay for the gift of the brains. It is, unfortunately, the very instrument that the accursed Satan infiltrates to plant seeds of doubt, lead you astray and destroy your faith. I see evidences of this in your questioning.

Me. Your Person, I beg you to forgive me. You are right indeed. It is the accursed Satan who takes over me, manipulates my thoughts and enflames me. You have been so kind and indulging that I find it in me to ask a few more questions that really trouble me. And since I am headed for the next world, I want to arrive there with absolute certitude about our holy faith and its teachings…

Mullah. I have other urgent matters to attend to them. Please speak up and let us be done.

Me. Yes, yes. I will get to the point directly, but first I beg your forgiveness for this very question is a shameful one. As you recall, my late cousin Ghasem, blessed his soul, was killed in a religious mission. Our very own Ayatollah declared him a martyr and the government pays his parents a monthly stipend for it. You, yourself, during his burial proclaimed him a martyr and assured us all that he was in heaven already…

Mullah. Yes, yes. I thought that you were going to get to the question. I need not be reminded of all these preliminaries. What is the question?

Me. Well, I was a lad when they brought his body to the village for burial. My father and uncle asked me to help with the washing of his body before burial. I noticed that although much of his chest and head were seriously injured, his instrument was fully intact.

Mullah. Yes?

Me. Well, how should I say this? Fine, my question is how my martyred cousin, blessed his soul, is going to partake from the 72 virgins if his instrument was buried with the rest of his body? I saw it with my own eyes that it was buried. Would they issue him a new instrument in paradise? If he is not issued a new instrument, he would most likely sit around, sigh in frustration and weep bitterly for eternity. That would be true hell, not paradise.

Mullah. Son, you have not only a questioning mind that the accursed Satan has completely taken over, you have a mind that is fixated on sex. You are in dire trouble and in great need for spiritual rehabilitation.

Me. Yes, Your Person. You are correct as always. But, sex is important to healthy men. Is it not for this reason that the Prophet himself had numerous wives, that Muslims are allowed four wives and many Seeghe? And you, yourself, have four wives and reportedly partake of Seeghe on your biannual journey to the shrine of Imam Reza?

Mullah. Now, you have exceeded my patience with your vulgarity. I demand that you take your filthy self out of my presence at once, before I have you lynched for blasphemy.

Postscript

I ran out of the Mullah’s house as if the devil himself was after me and left the village in the dead of night fearing the wrath of the powerful mullah. It may be that the Satan has taken over my brains and it is him who is raising these blasphemous questions. But even my donkey has a mind of its own and did not always do what I wanted it to do.

Am I less than a donkey to blindly believe and obey what others say? I did not even scratch the surface of the mounds of questions that I have. Why, for instance, our Mullah can have four wives and comfortable life built on the sweat and blood of us destitute villagers? We have to pay Khoms (Tithe, one-fifth) of our meager earning? We have to give Zakat (religious contributions) and even gladly offer our life when they demand it? They have their paradise right here on earth, thanks to the servitude of fools like us, while giving us phony promises as our compensation in the afterlife. I have changed my mind about joining the Martyrs Brigade, until such time that some religious authority can give satisfactory answers to all my questions.

My Satan-possessed mind advises all young men and women to beware of the mullahs. They are wolves in sheep’s garbs.

Vernon Robinson Update

I posted yesterday about Vernon Robinson, and linked to his fantastic website.

While I was on his site, I used his comment field to compliment him, and tell him that although I am an Ohioan and cannot vote for him, I thought what he was doing was great.

Today, just a few minutes ago, I received a call from Vernon Robinson himself, thanking me for the compliment! He was very polite, and wanted to know if I am a college student, (which I am not) because he is trying to also campaign on campuses.

Regardless, he thanked me for visiting his site, linking to my blog, and was very kind.

I am astounded to have actually received a call from Mr. Robinson!

And The Darwin Award Goes To...

Two college students from Lutz, Florida, were found dead inside a large, deflated helium balloon after attempting to crawl inside of it.

The deaths are apparently accidental, though the coroner will not release the death certificates until toxicology reports come back. I'll bet I can guess what they will say...

The eight-foot diameter balloon was in front of a condominium complex, where it was used as a promotional device. The bodies were found with it.

I suppose that the college students didn't realize that you can't breath in a helium environment... The ol' grey matter requires oxygen to live.

"It was more a fun thing they thought they were doing," said Linda Rydman, whose daughter was found dead. "You know how you blow up the balloon and suck the helium."

Robinson... Is He For Real?

I found this website for Vernon Robinson for Congress (h/t to the Insiders), and couldn't believe my eyes! I swear to you, I thought it was a joke site; in this day of wussy, spineless, leftists-in-Republican's clothing, I couldn't believe that someone with an (R) behind his name would have the stones to say the sort of things that he does!

Watch this campaign ad; you won't be sorry! I laughed 'till my sides hurt!

Only time will tell if, once elected to Congress, he sticks to his guns and remains the sort of Republican we all wish we had representing us... But I've got to say, if this man runs for President, I think he'd have a pretty good chance.

Don't you think he even kind of looks like President Palmer from 24? (Maybe just a little bit?)

Turnabout Is Fair Play

One wonders what President Fox would do if the roles were reversed, and a steady flood of Americans were streaming into Mexico illegally...

Hell On Earth

Go to Hell... No, really.

This Tuesday is numerically 6-6-06, and the co-incidence will be taken advantage of by all sorts of cheesy punsters, like the producers of The Omen, who have chosen that day as the perfect co-incidence (Riiiight) to release their devil-themed movie.

Case in point: Hell, Michigan. There will be one hell (haha) of a party this Tuesday, according to the Mayor of Hell, John Colone.

Mayor Colone also owns a souvenir shop, and will be selling 666 limited edition tee-shirts and coffee mugs, along with one square-inch deeds to the town of Hell. The price? $6.66.

From the AP:

The 666 revelry is just the latest chapter in the town's storied history of publicity stunts, said Jason LeTeff, one of its 72 year-round residents - or, as the mayor calls them, Hellions or Hell-billies. But LeTeff wasn't particularly enthused.

"Now, here I am living in Hell, taking my kids to church and trying to teach them the right things and the town where we live is having a 6-6-6 party," he said.

Dude... You live in HELL. Did you think they were going to let this one go by?

I Married A Snake... No, REALLY!

An Indian woman has fallen in love with and married a cobra in a traditional Hindu wedding with 2,000 guests in attendance.

The bride donned a silk saree, but the groom could not be coaxed out of his hole. Since no one was willing to go in after him, a brass statue of a cobra stood in his place.

"Whenever I put milk near the ant hill where the cobra lives, it always comes out to drink. I always get to see it every time I go near the ant hill. It has never harmed me," said the bride, Bimbala Das.

The villagers of Bhubaneswar laid out a feast for the human/animal union, believing it would bring good luck.

Her parents even approve: "I am happy. Bimbala was ill. We had no money to treat her. Then she started offering milk to the snake... She was cured. That made her fall in love."

Das now lives in a hut near the ant hill. She is a member of the vegetarian religious sect of Vaishnav, whose leaders gave her permission to marry the snake.

Oh, good grief...

More Muslim Peace: Honor Killing Du Jour.

Yet another example of how much value Islam places on women: Hat tip to Joe Gringo!

Less than a year in jail for butchering his sister

This is tragic, but not surprising as they keep unfolding the horrors of Islam.

Honor Killings: Murder in the Name of Tradition

[Amman, Jordan] Two years ago, Hussnia, 22, was abducted, sodomized and raped by a group of men who abandoned her in a remote house in the Jordan Valley. Stigmatized for a crime of which she was the victim, Hussnia was unaware that the worst was yet to come.

While Hussnia was bedridden, licking her wounds in a nearby hospital, her mother, father and sisters all refused to visit her. A few days after being released from hospital, Hussnia fell victim to another attack – this one fatal. The attacker was her younger brother, Zaki, who charged at her with an axe and struck her repeatedly until she was dead. Zaki triumphantly declared to his stern looking father and helpless mother that he had just cleansed the family honor.

“I know she was not to blame for being raped, but would the relatives and neighbors understand? As far as they are concerned, she is not a virgin anymore. That was enough reason to take her life,” says Zaki, who refused to even utter his sister’s name.

When Zaki went to court, the judge sentenced him to less than one year in prison. “Killing my sister was not the happiest day of my life, but if I had to, I would do it again,” says the defiant Zaki. “I could not imagine my or my father’s life if we did not do it.”

Yah, hard to imagine, I've got four words for you......."you're going to hell".

Carter Accepts $1 Million From Bin Laden Family

Jimmy Carter's center in Atlanta received more than $1 million dollars from the Bin Laden family after meeting with 10 of OBL's brothers in early 2000.

The money has been donated in roughly $200,000 increments since then.

World News Daily reporter Melanie Morgan calls the connection between Carter and the bin Laden family "Exactly the kind of charge Michael Moore leveled against President Bush in the film Fahrenheit 9/11."

I'm willing to bet we won't see any 'shocking' films coming out over this one...

Ironically, the Carters hosted Moore in the presidential viewing box at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.

Co-incidence... Break out the tinfoil hats folks... No, really.

In all seriousness, I believe it is questionable at best to accept 'donations' from the bin Laden family; the apple seldom falls far from the tree. It is also the height of hypocrisy to cavort with the same filmmaker who called Bush a traitor, while taking money from the folks who raised the most infamous Islamic terrorist of our time.

Morgan goes on to report even more of Carter's impropriety, which I believe borders on treason.

Carter was linked with a key figure in the U.N.'s oil-for-food scandal, Samir Vincent, who pleaded guilty to participating in numerous illegal activities.

Vincent admitted to receiving allocations for more than 9 million barrels of oil between 1996 and 2003 in return for serving as an agent of Saddam Hussein's regime. He worked at Hussein's direction, lobbying U.S. and U.N. officials to end sanctions and to instead implement the oil-for-food scam.

The first documented contact between Carter and Vincent was in September 1999. Vincent had organized a tour of Iraqi religious leaders to meet with individuals in the United States who might be persuaded to speak out against the sanctions against Iraq. The trip also included discussions of ways to oppose U.S. and British air strikes against Iraqi missile batteries in southern Iraq, which had fired on American and British aircraft engaged in enforcing the southern "No Fly Zone."

Religion Of Peace Illustrated

The "religion of peace" has been anything but: historically, ideally, religiously, or any other way you look at it. They kill the innocent indiscriminately with suicide bombs like cowards. They are as vicious to women as they are the infidel, perhaps even more so, when one considers the quaint "custom" of honor killing, and the generally hopeless oppression of women, all in the name of Allah.

Here, we have a historical painting from Persia, dating from about the 15th century.

It depicts a scene from the Isra and Mi'raj, or The Night Voyage, wherein Mohammad is taken on a journey from Mecca to Jerusalem in one night by the Angel Gabriel. During all of this, Mo makes a pit stop in Hell on the funky, woman-headed horse Buraq. While he is there, he notes some of the denizens of Hell and their victims.

Not surprisingly, according to Mo, most of them are women. The picture above shows women being tormented by a black demon. They are strung up by their hair, and burned in Hellfire for all eternity for the sin of inciting lust in men. How did they incite such lust? Showing too much of their hair.

You see, according to the current President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, women's hair emanates an "evil ray" that drives men "into lustful irrationality." This statement was made recently, not thousands of years ago!

Next, we have a green demon torturing women by stringing them up by their tongues and burning them. What did they do? Why, the horrible sin of "mocking" their husbands, and leaving their homes without permission or male escort.

There is another image that can be found here.
Unfortunately, there was a problem uploading it to Blogger, and it would not show up.

It depicts a red demon stringing up women by their breasts, and burning them in Hellfire in the style above. The sin for which they are being forever tortured is giving birth to another man's child, and claiming the baby belonged to their husbands.

With such ingrained hatred of women, it is hard to imagine that Islam could be accepted in the modern world.

Hat tip to Infidel Blogger's Alliance for the pics!

In light of the Senate doing pretty much whatever the hell they want in regards to immigration and energy (drilling and refinement), I thought this would be appropriate!
